I was a size 14 when Dr. Katz did my tummy tuck in January 25. I'm now a solid 8. He's wonderful.

If it were possible to rate Dr. Katz a zero or negative number, that is what he deserves. If you are a breast cancer patient/breast cancer survivor - avoid him. I wish I’d read another review here that says he’s “unkind” and not caring towards cancer patients. I never would’ve scheduled an appointment with him. He is a cruel person who should find another profession which doesn’t involve interacting with people. He’s arrogant and views the patient (in this case me) as “beneath” him. Additionally, he didn’t review my records before he met with me. No excuse for that. If he’d reviewed my records, he would’ve discovered that I had a DVT and that reconstructive plastic surgery was too much of a risk for me. He wasted my time and his - plus I was subjected to his belittling, mean comments. Additionally, he got information WRONG in his post summary report of my appointment with him. I’m now going to have to correct his errors in the report. Facts are vital in medicine. I’m a former journalist and journalism professor. (He had my profession listed as a “dance instructor.”) He would’ve flunked my class. There were many other errors in his “report.” Important information. Another example: No members of my family have been diagnosed with breast cancer, but he listed a sister with breast cancer.

Dr. Katz, it's amazing beyond words. I am a cancer survivor. He is so caring for his patients and their family. Always asking to make sure that Dr. Katz is providing the best service. To help bring what cancer took away. Dr. Katz is wonderful and I am so thankful for being so caring. Thank you Dr. Katz and your team. Ellie B.

Went for liposuction. Paid for 3 areas. Two were done. Price quote was not provided in writing, and prior to surgery a much higher than original quoted price was charged. Having made plans for this time, I paid it, although a deposit had been made to hold the date and preform the work at a lower cost. Staff acted annoyed and were far from encouraging and helpful, and not at all forthright. I will go elsewhere next time. There are many great places who are happy to help you. This is not one.
