About Dr. Ahmed

Dr. Ahmed Suliman is a board-certified plastic surgeon and Associate Professor of Surgery at UC San Diego School of Medicine, where he was named Teacher of the Year in 2016 in the Division of Plastic Surgery. He earned his medical degree from Boston University Chobanian and Avedisian School of Medicine and completed general surgery residency at UC San Diego and plastic surgery residency at UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine, followed by fellowships in microsurgery and aesthetic surgery. Dr. Suliman is double board-certified in surgery and plastic surgery and trains medical students, residents, and fellows at UC San Diego Health.
