I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Markelov, Tatiana, and Marla. From the moment I walked in, they made me feel genuinely cared for and completely at ease. As someone who is a very nervous patient, I truly appreciate how patient and understanding they were with me. Dr. Markelov is not only incredibly knowledgeable and professional, but also calm and reassuring. He took the time to answer all of my many questions thoroughly, pre and post op. I never felt rushed or dismissed. Tatiana and Marla were equally wonderful — kind, attentive, and so supportive throughout the entire process. The whole team went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and informed every step of the way. The entire team handled everything with the highest level of professionalism while still being warm and compassionate. If you’re an anxious patient, like I am, you’ll be in excellent hands here. I traveled from western Canada to meet with Dr. Marklov and his team and Iam very pleased with the decision. Dr. Markelov and his team are very talented and knowledgeable. Beside skill, what sets him apart is his honesty. In this realm of medicine I felt alot of doctors would do whatever I want and even suggest upgrades so I was very confused on what explant option was right for me until I met Dr. Markelov. He told be straight up what he thought, what I will probably encounter afterwards and what woudn't work. I opted for the "awake" explant and it was an excellent decision. While I was cut open, he discovered a badly ruptured implant, but he skillfully corrected the problem. I am beyond happy with my choice of doctors and I highly reccomend Dr. Markelov. Thank you to you Dr. Markelov and your excellent team!

It took me some time to decide to do a breast reduction and then more time find the right doctor. I did extensive research even looked at going to different cities. Dr. Markelov was the last doctor I interviewed because I believed that the approach he would take was more in line with what I was looking for. No need to look any further. He is calm, confident and welcomes your questions and comments. It is a small, efficient and tight knit office. As well as, easy and pleasant to communicate with. Nothing is a problem for the team. I went for several lymphatic massages post-surgery and even the massage therapists gave unsolicited comments about what a great job my doctor had done. I am now, 7 weeks post surgery, and extremely happy with my new look!

I had a fat graft transfer to the breasts 6 weeks ago and it was nothing but a positive experience all around. Both Tatianna and Dr. Markelov were so considerate of my questions and I felt as if I was in great hands from consultation, to procedure to my two follow ups. The consultation was very thorough and he was very transparent with what was possible and where it would make sense to source the fat via liposuction. I completely trusted his judgement based on my body composition and my life style. The actual procedure was very smooth. The clinic was beautiful, clean and I was extremely comfortable as I was prepped for the procedure. I chose to be awake during the procedure, but I assure you I didn't feel pain. The sedatives I was given and local anesthetic did its job and I only felt the pressure every so often since time flew by for me. I was given a ton of information and they answered all my questions before they sent me home to heal. Healing was as described. I was given a list before the procedure to prepare that included products and medications to have ready to go when I needed them. I highly recommend obtaining all the supplements as I feel I healed beautifully and had minimal pain, as well as the swelling going down what felt really quickly. My pain was mainly just general soreness and overall local pain to the injection sites. At 6 weeks post procedure, I am loving my results and I am about 1 1/2 cup bigger than I started. I fully recognize that they may decrease a bit more, as Dr. Markelov stressed that final results are still a little bit out, however I am extremely pleased with the turnout and feel that much more confident in my body. Thanks to the entire office for such a wonderful experience. I highly recommend anyone interested in a fat graft transfer to the breasts to go see Dr. Markelov.

Had an amazing experience with the whole team. This was my first experience with cosmetic surgery, I lost 85 pounds and had a large overhang stomach. After reading reviews and investigating Dr Markelov, I as a RN felt like he was exactly what I was looking for. I had a tummy tuck and breast lift (two pregnancies and loss of 85lbs off my 5’2” frame). The process was straightforward and well communicated. I’m now 2 months post operation and so happy with my results. I would recommend DR Markelov to anyone looking for plastic surgery in the Tampa Bay Area.
