Hand Reconstruction

Though this review is 21 years overdue, I am compelled to express my profound gratitude for Dr. Mitchell’s exceptional care. At 16, a devastating accident severely injured three fingers on my dominant hand, threatening permanent loss of function. Dr. Mitchell’s skillful reconstruction transformed what could have been a life-altering tragedy into a minor, manageable outcome. Now, at 37, I rarely notice the faint scars or subtle changes in my hand. When I do, they don’t stir memories of pain but instead bring a warm smile, reminding me of Dr. Mitchell’s kindness, professionalism, and unwavering dedication. The reconstruction process took a few months, but with amputation as the alternative, his work was nothing short of miraculous. I am certain Dr. Mitchell remains a pioneer in his field, and I will always be deeply thankful for his remarkable skill and compassion. I feel immensely fortunate to have been his patient.

Dr. Mitchell is one of a kind. He saw my daughter immediately after her injury happened and surgery was scheduled the next morning. His bedside manor was awesome and he made a very nervous situation pleasant. My daughter is a competitive cheerleader and was quickly back on the mat once her hand healed. She is as good as new.. Dr. Mitchell is an amazing doctor. He did work on my finger and really took time to explain to me how to take care of it in a way that I could understand. He really went above and beyond. I couldn't have asked for a better doctor.
