I had very little idea what to expect when I first booked my consultation for facial feminization surgery with Dr. Marano. I've worked with this practice on a couple of surgeries now for my gender journey and have still always been very pleased with the results. Dr. Marano was very communicative, affirming, and helpful in finding out all the nitty gritty details of what to expect and what would be done. I personally love that he held more of a "less is more" approach with my surgery. I've seen other girls who went to their surgeons and came out less than pleased with the final results. The changes were very subtle, but my goodness were they effective. Dr. Marano is ridiculously skilled! He also has a magnificent team of specialists that were involved. Also, he was more than happy to help me understand my surgery by letting me see pictures from my surgery. Beautiful!

From my first visit, To the actual surgery I don’t know what I would’ve done without dr Marano and his wonderful staff. They made me feel so comfortable throughout the entire process. When I went for my one week post surgery follow up I literally wanted to cry over how happy I was and how I looked. I truly changed my life for the utterly better To say the least. If you need gender affirming care, I honestly wouldn’t recommend anybody else. Dr Marano and team if y’all are reading this, thank you so much and I love you guys. You really have changed my life.

Dr. Marano is a wonderful, kind person and an excellent surgeon. He always took my health concerns seriously and guided me through an unexpected breast cancer scare, with an extensive family history of breast cancer being able to tackle and lower my risk while also having gender affirming surgery truly is a blessing. He took into account all the goals I had envisioned for top surgery and really did an amazing job. I highly recommend Dr. Marano he is a truly compassionate person.

I went to Dr. Marano to receive gender affirming top surgery. I literally have had the best experience possible with Dr. Marano and his team. Understanding, informative, incredibly accessible, and willing to work with me when things went unexpectedly with things like pre-operative clearance. I could not be happier with my results and would return to Dr. Marano time and time again. I didn't have to do any heavy lifting in a medical or insurance area that I thoroughly did not understand as his team worked tirelessly to get everything perfect. All I had to do was show up and I cannot appreciate enough how stress-free they made this. I will most definitely be recommending Dr. Marano to my friends looking to undergo top surgery in the future.

Dr Marano and the staff were so supportive of everything, at points I couldn’t tell who was more excited for my surgery, me or them. Surgery can be a scary thing but they made me at ease. Leading up to the day of surgery I knew I could ask anything I wanted to know and get a good, complete and honest answer. Dr. Marano also made sure to check in with me about all the aesthetic aspects of the surgery. The day of my surgery I was sitting in the bed waiting alone and getting a bit nervous but the minute I saw Dr Marano I knew I was in good hands and had nothing to worry about. He explained anything and everything I could have wanted to know. I’m so glad I went to him and his staff for my surgery - they made me feel valued. Not to mention the results are pretty fantastic :)
