I had a revision breast reduction 5 weeks ago and one of my incisions is still discharging yellow, with red margins, and is actually bigger than a few weeks ago. In fact, I went to the ER this past weekend because one of my breasts was having stabbing pains and they sent me home with antibiotics. Why didn't I return to Dr. Lim? Ironically, I had an in-person office visit with her the Monday before and expressed my concerns and asked her if she thought it was infected. She BARELY glanced down at my chest and said to give it time. When I pushed for some sort of clearer answer, she said, 'It's not physics, it's medicine'. My jaw dropped. Medicine is LITERALLY science. I told her I was looking for help and she said, well, 'We could try some ointment.' I told her we were done and I wouldn't be back. At 5 weeks I also have a gouge on one of my areolas and the scab is probably 4-5 cm deep. She also told me to give this time. Once she gets your money she essentially taps out of all caring.
