Had nasal reconstructive surgery with Dr. Dowlatshahi. Though surgery is always a challenge, working with Dr Sammy has been an excellent process from start to (near) finish. Great communication; takes plenty of time to explain procedures; gives very clear instructions to patients; the results seem spectacular. Highly recommended.

I had my calf split in half and my acles tendon torn and had no idea what was gonna happen regarding the outcome of my leg and I was shipped from one hospital to Beth Isreal. I spoke to an array of doctors along the way and eventually met a doctor Sammy. I was un sure what role he would play upon meeting him, but after a 5 minute convo with him and the questions he asked had intially made it very clear he was caring, a professional, educated in depth and extremely intelligent. I immediately thought "I really really hope this is my surgeon". I was extremely lucky cause he was and had no doubt I was in good hands. It wasn't till after when I had brought up his name to other doctors that I learned not only is it difficult to get him cause he is so renounced but also EVERY doctor I spoke to looked up to him and admired him. While I was in he hospital recovering I overheard one family speaking about how he's world renounced and sought as a surgeon for many in America but also internationally and another family taking about they had moved their whole family from California to have him as thier surgeon. He carried a certain Ora and demeanor where you felt like he cared and you could tell the other surgeons looked up to him. I am extremely grateful and feel extremely lucky that I had some serious bad luck followed by some serious good luck in attaining him as my surgeon. Thank you doctor Sammy I will never forget our encounter and I don't feel like I could of gotten a better surgeon and a better conclusion. 🙏🏼

Dr. Sammy cares about his patients. I had surgery with him and he and his incredible caring team make you feel comfortable about the procedure before it happens. I was really impressed with the whole experience.

Sammy is the best surgeon I have ever met. Working with him teaches me a lot and I can tell that he cares about his patients. As a medical student I have shadowed many good and famous physicians. After some time I would always identify some flaws in their care. Not with Sammy though. He remains patient and calm when other surgeons wouldn't. He thinks about his patients 24/7. I am blessed to be allowed to learn from him. I can only dream to be 50% as good as him. Plus he is the most humble and honest human being.

I was searching for contact information in order to refer a friend to Dr Dowlatshahi when I ran across this Google review. I was so excited to be able to leave a review of my own. There are not enough stars for a doctor like Dr Dowlatshahi he not only saved my sisters life but he treated her with compassion and care. His skills, expertise, knowledge, and love of medicine make him an exceptional doctor. But what makes Dr Dowlatshahi stand out amongst his peers is how he treats his patients. He cares. I have many doctors in my family and know personally the toll it takes on a person when you care so deeply for your patients. We were blessed the day our paths crossed. If you are ever in need of his medical expertise, do not hesitate, he is the best!
