My son received 2nd degree burns (according to Dr. Burkey) on Tuesday, July 15th. We rushed him to one hospital who then referred us to St. Chris' the next day, July 16th where I met Dr. Burkey. She was extremely nice, professional and thorough with my son. She spoke to him with respect and as an "equal". (No baby talk). She answered all of my questions at the time as well as made me and my son extremely comfortable and calm in the given situation. I have a follow up in a week an look forward to seeing her again.
