Dr. David Alessi is the founder and medical director of the Alessi Institute for Facial Plastic Surgery in Beverly Hills. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Michigan State University Honors College with a B.S. in Biochemistry, then earned his M.D. from Wayne State University School of Medicine. He completed a surgical internship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, followed by residency training in Head and Neck Surgery and Otolaryngology at UCLA School of Medicine, where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Alessi is double board-certified and has developed multiple trademarked surgical techniques to reduce scarring and recovery times. He spent four years as chief of the division at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and serves as a clinical assistant professor at UCLA. He is also an Advisory Member of the Cosmetic & Reconstructive Support Program of the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence and co-founder of Face Forward, Inc., a nonprofit supporting domestic violence survivors.
