SCAM!! I came to this doctor for a medically necessary procedure on my nose so I can breathe. I was told insurance would cover it MULTIPLE TIMES so I jumped through all the hoops they needed to get surgery. It is now 2 weeks before my surgery and the doctor “decided there was a cosmetic component” and now wants $10 grand UPFRONT for surgery. NO PART OF THIS IS COSMETIC. It is so that I can BREATHE. He basically scammed me out of money for appointments but never actually intended to do surgery. GO NOT GO HERE!!!

I contacted the office of Dr. Staffenberg because my son has a microtia diagnosis. He initially had a CAM surgery and his prosthetic broke so he needs a revision. The doctor refused to see him under insurance and insisted on a $250 cash fee for a consult and additionally said the surgery would be cosmetic. This is not true. Anyone with a microtia diagnosis should stay away from this office. This is a necessary procedure - either initial or revision- and should be covered by insurance. This doctor is taking advantage of vulnerable patients with a condition that should be covered by insurance! Shame on Dr. Staffenberg!

There are NOT enough words to describe how amazing Dr. Staffenberg and his staff are!!! My son was diagnosed with craniosynostosis at 2 weeks of age. It was a very scary diagnosis for us to hear at that time and since our son could not receive the surgery until 4 months of age, we had plenty of time to research a plastic surgeon to proceed with. The Universe works in magical ways, and it just so happened that a new neighbor moved in right across the street and their son had craniosynostosis and through extensive interviews and research they had selected Dr. Staffenberg. We were told he was the BEST of the BEST and therefore we proceeded forward with Dr. Staffenberg. From start to finish, the entire process was seamless and our son at 4 months of age recovered so well and ahead of schedule. The incision across his head was done so beautifully! I see horror pictures on-line and I have yet to see any photos that compare to the work that Dr. Staffenberg performed on our 4 months old son. It is unbelievable, there are no words to describe the peace of mind Dr. Staffenberg and his team gave to us. We will be forever grateful to them all :)

Yesterday we had a appointment with Dr Staffenberg to consult for my daughters ears. And he answered all our questions and just made us just so very comfortable. My daughter said she felt so comfortable with the doctor as he explained everything to her and that she will be so happy once the procedure is done. She can't wait. Everyone in the office are do very very nice. Definitely was worth the trip into Manhattan.
