Having a rhinoplasty was my dream for more than 20 years. My biggest fear was waking up from surgery with a nose so different that I wouldn’t recognize myself. After more than 4 years of researching closed rhinoplasty, choosing Dr. Dugar was the best decision I could have made!
From the very beginning, all communication with his team was clear and professional. My first consultation was virtual since I was far away, and although I was initially nervous about not being understood, Dr. Dugar exceeded all my expectations. He carefully analyzed my photos, listened to my concerns, and aligned my goals with realistic and natural results. I felt completely confident from that moment on.
My in-person consultation in Beverly Hills the day before surgery was amazing. The office is beautiful, well located, and the entire experience felt calm, organized and high-end. I was welcomed by my lovely nurse, Gabby, who took me for my pre-consultation before I finally went to the room to take my before pictures so they could upload better photos for a more accurate surgery. I could finally meet Dr. Dugar in person, he was incredibly kind, attentive and human. He could check my anatomy and explained every detail and made sure I was comfortable and confident with the plan.
Next day — THE BIG DAY — I went to the surgery center ready but nervous. I was welcomed by a nurse who took me to a comfortable room. After change, they put me in amazing warm massage boots and blankets, and I felt so comfortable. The whole time I was awake before anesthesia, I felt really good and in good hands. After 1 hour, I just woke up in the recovery room and it was done! Fast and easy, just like that! No nausea, no big pain, and with my beautiful new nose! The nurse stayed by my side the whole time until my friend came to pick me up. She made sure I was completely fine to leave and took me to my car- so kind. I never had plastic surgery before, but I honestly felt safe and cared for during the entire process.
I consider my recovery surprisingly easy, with excellent post-op follow-up, including daily check-ins from Gabby, who was absolutely wonderful. The first 2 days I had some pain, like headaches and difficulty sleeping (I didn’t take the sleep pills - big mistake - so the first night I woke up every 30 min feeling my mouth dry and difficult breathing).
Pain-wise, on a scale from 1–10, I would say a 2, with the worst pain during the first days — a little discomfort in my throat and a heavy feeling in my head. Nothing crazy, completely tolerable.
After third day, until my cast removal, I was out and about — I visited restaurants, museums, went for walks, drove… everything! Nothing stopped me from having a “normal” life between days 3 and 7 while waiting for my cast removal.
I went back to the office 7 days after my surgery for my cast removal and was welcomed again by my lovely nurse Gabby, who explained what I should do in the next weeks and what to expect in terms of swelling, medication, etc. She took me to another room when Dr. Dugar came in. He cleaned my nose inside, removed the cast and VOILA… my dream nose appeared! Perfection, as he said — like Michelangelo sculpting a beautiful angel in marble, so perfect that nobody can tell it was made by a surgeon, so perfect it looks like I was born with it. Dr. Deepak is so talented and knows exactly what he is doing, he really deserves an Oscar as best doctor!
From the beginning until the last day, everything was exactly what I asked for and more. I am completely obsessed with my nose and my profile is so beautiful. I catch myself stopping everywhere I see my reflection to admire my new nose and I know this is just the beginning. I know that when all the swelling goes down, I will be even happier with how my nose looks. Im beyond happy with my results and deeply grateful to Dr. Deepak Dugar, Gabby, and the entire team. I couldn’t recommend Dr. Dugar more to anyone considering rhinoplasty! 👃🏻❤️🏆
