The photos speak for Dr MacDonald's fantastic work. I had both eyebag removal and eyelid surgery. The results are so natural looking, I get asked by friends how am I aging backwards. Dr. MacDonald is a perfectionist and cares a great deal about your results and in general for his patients. You can tell he's a really good person who's passionate about helping people feel their best. He was also very patient with my anxiety and frequent questions, which I greatly appreciated. I'm not a patient person and this surgery does require patience to see the true end results.

If you are looking to get your nose done, I recommend going to Dr. Mac. I was very self-conscious of my nose growing up before my surgery and was so shy that I would always try to hide behind my hair. During the consultation, Dr. Mac took the time to thoroughly explain the whole procedure to me and answered any questions I had in detail. Keara, the manager, also was very kind to me and answered any other questions I had as well. I had never had any type of surgery before my rhinoplasty and Dr. Mac reassured me and my mom (since I was only 18 at the time) the whole time and made me feel at ease before my surgery. Additionally, the staff that works alongside with Dr. Mac at the location where the surgery takes place was also so wonderful and kind to me and my mom as well. Dr. Mac truly cares about his patients and he and Keara, both took the time to call me throughout my recovery to see how I was feeling after the surgery. I had my nose done back in May 2022 and it's been about 9 months since I had my nose done and I am in love with the results so far. Every day it just keeps getting better. My confidence has grown so much that I no longer feel self-conscious about my side view and I am obsessed with my nose. I truly appreciate everything that Dr. Mac and his staff did for me. Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for an amazing and caring surgeon in the bay area!

Dr. MacDonald is an exceptional surgeon with true kindness and a big heart. He also has an amazing staff. It’s hard to find doctors that show they truly care and I felt that from the minute I first spoke with him. I highly recommend Dr. McDonald for any cosmetic or corrective surgery you may need. Plus, he’s a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to the surgery which is even better for me.

My search for a plastic surgeon for my belly liposuction ended after my consultation with Dr. MacDonald. Let me start by saying that the entire process was so smooth, professional and just outstanding. Jodi, the coordinator is very prompt and helpful right day 1 through the entire post operative recovery period. She provided all the information step by step and left no Qs unanswered. My zoom consult with Dr. MacDonald, extremely professional and best. Doc gave all his time,asked for my goals,went step by step and what I would expect from my goals. And his expert plans and the possible outcome. He is a very good doc that knows how to interact with his patients. He treats with care, respect and wants best for his pts. I really liked that. My liposuction surgery went very smooth. I was well prepared by doc and Jodi on what to expect so post op phase was not a shock at all. I was well aware of the bruises, soreness, oozing and how to take care of myself to heal well. Follow the folder they give and things will be smooth. I am really happy I found Dr. MacDonald. His office has a great staff! Good job!

Dr. Michael R. Macdonald is one of the best doctor I met. He shows a lot of care to the patient that made me feel very comfortable. The first time I made an appointment, the city lost power due to the heavy rain storm. I was already left for his office and even we were not able to do any treatment, he offered to talk to me and see my condition and concerns for no charge. The office is very clean, the receptionist is also very nice and professional. Overall my experience at his office was professional and kind. I'm planning to go back again when I need skin care professional.
