Dr. Chen was so incredible! Not only did she assure me every step of the way but she made me feel so incredibly confident throughout the entire process. I got a breast reduction and it changed my life all thanks to her. My sister is the one who recommended me and I’m sure she would say the same. I highly recommend Dr. Chen for any surgical procedure, she is the absolute best and incredibly lovely.

On June 26/2025 life as I knew has changed forever. Diagnosis: invasive ductal carcinoma breast cancer! No pain, no symptoms, no family history yet, here we are. The initial treatment plan was a lumpectomy, followed by radiation therapy, and then 5-10 years of endocrine therapy. Unfortunately, that changed quite quickly with the results of genetic testing, which revealed I carry the CHEK2 gene mutation. Another slap from life. The new plan: a double mastectomy direct to implants, with nipple-sparing surgery and a nerve graft. All of this was much harder to swallow. Thankfully, thanks to my wonderful medical team, starting with my primary care physician, who recommended me to a wonderful oncology surgeon who then recommended me to a great plastic surgeon, Dr. Elaina Chen today, three months after my surgery, I can enjoy the beautiful work of her. Dr. Chen is an exceptionally talented, well-educated, and respected plastic and reconstructive surgeon. She recognizes that body image matters to both women and men despite their health history. Her artistic work, with its meticulous attention to details speaks for itself. If you are in need, do not look any further, dr Chen and her team is your answer!!!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Dr. Chen and her team. I had a double mastectomy with reconstruction after my breast cancer diagnosis and the results are beyond what I ever imagined — so natural. I’ve received so many compliments from both medical professionals and friends who can’t believe how seamless and natural everything looks. Dr. Chen is truly an artist — meticulous, compassionate, and incredibly skilled. From the first consultation to post-op care, the entire experience made me feel supported, confident, and cared for. I’m so grateful to have been in such capable hands. Highly, highly recommend!

Dr Chen was amazing! Breast cancer and a gene mutation gave me no choice but to have a double mastectomy. My experience couldn’t have been better. My breasts look like mine but better. I was fortunately able to do nipple sparing, direct to implant with nerve grafting. Surgery was a success and recovery went great. She is a perfectionist in the best way. Staff is also amazing and responsive. My greatest fear after diagnosis was not looking like me, but I look like a better version of me and after all chemo took, Dr Chen gave me the best gift.

Where do I even start? I highly recommend Dr. Chen and her team! I’ve met with many doctors for my FTM Top Surgery, it was not the best experience, but once I met Dr. Chen I knew she was gonna make my dream into a reality. Dr. Chen and her team are the absolute best! Every single one of them were nothing but amazing since the day of the consultation, to now being 3 months post op! Though I had to go to the hospital, unrelated to the surgery, the team and Dr. Chen were very caring and would check on me frequently. They were very reassuring the whole way through. She’s a true artist, so skillful. I definitely put my trust into her, she did not disappoint. Which is why I am overly happy with the results and they speak for themselves.
