This review is specifically about Elliot Jacobs only. I had gynecomastia surgery about 3 months ago. First off, be aware that there is a chance that you will receive lipo only. As for me he did lipo only. He never told me this was a possibility until the day of the surgery 10 mins before I went under. Totally unethical to do in my opinion! He Never mentioned that there would be a possibility of lipo only during the consultation. Instead, he told me that he would make a excision to extract the gland. Right when he told me there was a possibilities that he would do lipo only I should have opt out but had zero time to think since literally I was about to go under and paid the full amount and trust he charges a hefty price. Also, I figured that with thousands of surgeries under his belt he would do what every other surgeon does to cure gyno, and that is to extract the gland. Woke up and was told that he didn't need to make a excision and did lipo only. When asked to see the gland they didn't even show me it. Still feels like I have gyno and during the post op he told me it was scar tissue. I rejected the steroid shot that he offered me. In conclusion, Before you go with Elliot Jacobs make sure to keep in mind that there is a possibility of you getting lipo only with fat completely stripped and gland left.

I recently underwent top surgery with Dr. Jacobs, and being a surgeon myself, I am very selective about who I allow to operate on me. I did extensive research on Dr. Jacobs and traveled 3.5 hours for both my consultation and surgery. It was absolutely worth it; I couldn't be happier with the results. Dr. Jacobs is truly an expert in his field!

In my lifetime... over the course of forty years, I have been a patient of five plastic surgeons, of whom Dr.Jacobs would be the least praise-worthy. He didn't react well to my questioning the results of my $9500-surgery with him, as his responses were all a dismissive: "I don't know". I'd not return to him.

Dr. Jacobs and his team are fantastic. Dr. Jacobs really listens and makes sure that the patient is satisfied at every step of the way. He really cares about his patients and does everything in his power to make sure they are happy with results. I cannot recommend this doctor enough.
