Review of My Eyelid Surgery Experience I had an extremely disappointing experience with Eric Rothenberg regarding my eyelid surgery. Initially, I was quoted $2,500 for the procedure, with the assurance that this fee would cover any follow-up visits or necessary adjustments. However, this promise was not upheld. A month after the surgery, I developed inflammation in one eyelid and made an appointment to address it. When I arrived, the surgeon confirmed the inflammation but informed me that I would be charged again for the follow-up procedure. When I questioned this, he became visibly upset and raised his voice at me. After a tense discussion, he reluctantly agreed to fix the issue. Unfortunately, while the inflammation was resolved after the second surgery, the results were subpar. I developed three noticeable lumps on my eyelid. When I called to inform him of this, he advised me to wait 2-3 months for the healing process before reassessing. After the waiting period, I returned, and he was visibly irritated upon seeing the results. I called to make another appointment. However, the day before the appointment, the office informed me—very rudely—that I would not be seen unless I paid for this next procedure. Frustrated, I mentioned involving my attorney, to which they dismissively responded, “Do whatever you have to do.” On the day of the appointment, they called to say the surgeon would see me without charging an additional fee. At that point, I chose not to return. What should have been a simple procedure turned into a drawn-out, frustrating process that lasted over a year. During the third surgery, the surgeon marked only two of the lumps for correction. When I pointed out that the third lump was not marked, he became angry, pointing at various spots on my face and stating that he wasn’t going to “fix all that.” Feeling frustrated and dismissed, I told him to fix whatever he deemed necessary. Despite these repeated attempts, my eyelid still looks poorly done, and the original issues remain unresolved. This experience has left me deeply unsatisfied and regretful. The lack of professionalism, poor communication, and substandard results were unacceptable. I would not recommend Eric Rothenberg to anyone seeking eyelid surgery or similar procedures.

I highly recommend Dr. Eric Rothenberg. I hurt my hand and I was in so much pain trying to use it. Dr. Rothenberg was highly recommended so I went and visited him. He is the nicest and understanding person. I had to have surgery to fix my hand and it was a wonderful experience. He very helpful and understanding and compassionate with his patients. My hand is fixed and the healing process will take time but fixed. I highly recommend Dr. Rothenberg if you need a hand specialist.

Met Dr Rothenberg for the 1st time last week when I came for trigger finger surgery! I absolutely love him! He is one of the kindest most personable Dr's I have ever met. Surgery was quick & the healing process is going smoothly. I highly recommend him. His whole staff is pretty amazing.

Surgery was of no benefit. I explained my problem very well and knew the main problem would not be solved and he did not tell me and did the surgery anyway.
