My carpal tunnel surgery was amazingly successful and easy. I took one Tylenol in the recovery room and nothing else since. I am three days out and have no numbness or pain. I’m able to have almost complete range of motion already. I did have some bruising but it is not painful or limiting my range of motion. Very pleased with Dr. Wachtman and the entire OR staff and anesthesia at Dell Seaton. Thank you for your great care.

I recently injured my finger and saw Dr. Watchman ,his bedside manner is something I haven’t experienced in a very long time. From the moment he walked in, he was warm, kind, and genuinely attentive. He took his time explaining everything to me in a way I could understand, without ever making me feel rushed or dismissed. Even though the outcome of my visit wasn’t what I had hoped for in terms of my recovery, he still managed to offer me something I really needed—hope. He had a gentle humor that lightened the mood, and a compassion that made me feel seen and supported. It’s rare to find a doctor who blends medical expertise with such genuine humanity. I left feeling more at peace, and for that, I’m deeply grateful.

Highly Recommend Dr. Galen Wachtman – Exceptional Surgeon I recently had surgery with Dr. Galen Wachtman, who was referred to me by Dr. Matthew T. Wallace after I was diagnosed with chondrosarcoma, a type of bone tumor. During my initial consultation, Dr. Wachtman explained that he would either use my gracilis muscle or my quad muscle to perform a flap surgery after the tumor was removed. I was relieved when he decided to use the gracilis muscle, as it is less essential compared to the quad muscle. Dr. Wachtman did an incredible job with the surgery on September 9th. He was not only skilled but also very caring and attentive throughout the entire process. He took the time to explain every detail to me before the surgery, ensuring I understood the procedure. Even after the surgery, during my post-op appointments, Dr. Wachtman continued to be very intentional about monitoring my healing and making sure everything was going well. I am extremely thankful to Dr. Wachtman for his amazing work and the care he provided. I truly believe that God used both Dr. Wachtman and Dr. Matthew T. Wallace to save my life. Dr. Wachtman’s expertise, compassion, and professionalism exceeded all my expectations, and I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of a plastic surgeon.

Dr. Wachtman is one of the best medical professionals I've met in a long time. He really worked hard to understand my issues and get to the bottom of what was going on and best of all he truly cared. After he diagnosed the issue, he was able to get my hands back to normal incredibly quickly. He'll definitely be my go-to from here on out - would highly recommend!
