I'm in the early post-operative phase of a fairly complex multi-faceted procedure with IvesMd that involved hairline advancement, brow-contour and lift, rhinoplasty, lipo, fat grafting, and breast reconstruction. I feel confident enough to start writing about it. I've had a handful of gender-related procedure dates in the last few years and at least double the number of things done, some good teams. So, let the heaping of praise begin. Nothing I've encountered rises close to the level of care I received with Dr Ives, Kylie, Maureen, Mayah, Linus, and the team there at IvesMd. I doubt anything i encounter ever will. I'll go out on a limb here. I think they're better than the best. They offer a model for the future of what patient care can become. They are alone in their own league. Dr Ives' practice is young. So, imagine all the benefits of youth, and none of the drawbacks of inexperience. It's like that. it's difficult for me to imagine how the practice will improve as their patient community grows and grows, difficult for me to comprehend how their practice could improve...at all. Still it's implausible that they won't improve by magnitudes given their clear-eyed, patient-centered empathy-driven self-aware laser-focused culture of perfection. My encounter with them has been far as i'm concerned nothing short of perfection in terms of standard of care and gender affirmation; and the touches they add have surprised and delighted me in those in-between moments of uncertainty, contemplation, or just trying to figure stuff out. They go way beyond anything i'm used to. One example, they used a software "Chrisalix", that offers a 3d modeled view of how my nose will look after the procedure. This enabled me to view it in my own space and consider any questions or uncertainties about the end result and address them with friends, loved ones and my medical team before the procedure. Amazing. They went so far to ensure my comfort and recovery that I'm actually embarrassed to detail all the ways; an embarrassment of riches, of collaboration, of competence, of care and encouragement, of gratitude. Beyond knowing that I had the best care possible, my heart is touched deeply by this experience. They might be the first provider i have worked with whose operational decisions and actions are based solely on what's in my best interest. I know they will improve constantly. It's just sewn-in to who they are. But if they never get one iota better than they are now, the patient community they serve will benefit immeasurably. I get the vibe from them that they may not really need to take insurance. A lot of practices probably wouldn't if they didn't need to. It's a lot of headaches, uncertainty, administrative overhead and probably less profitable. They also managed to get approval for things a lot of other practices might have just given up on. I think they do it because they care. I'm approaching a completion of the medical part of my gender journey. I wish I had discovered them earlier in my gender journey. I'll be grateful forever i found them when I did. AMA.

I had a feminizing hair transplant with Dr. Ives in July 2025, and a breast augmentation with feminizing body contouring in December 2025. I am SO HAPPY. My newly rounded hairline is exploding with new hair. My breasts look like an Ancient Greek statue, and my sexy new hips are turning men’s heads. I have a shape! These are huge changes and I love every little detail of their skillful work. To top it off, Dr. Ives, Kylie, Maureen, and Maya have treated me so kindly and have been immensely supportive, communicative, knowledgeable, and generous. I’m so glad that I chose to work with them. I look forward to even more fun changes in 2026!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My experience with Dr. Graham Ives and PA Kylie Tanabe at their new Beverly Hills plastics practice was exceptional from start to finish. Scheduling both my extensive consultation and procedures was quick and easy. The office staff was so kind and accommodating. Parking was convenient, close and easy. The office is beautiful! It’s a calming and stunning atmosphere accompanied by a beautiful view, which made the visit even more enjoyable. Dr. Ives and Kylie each gave me their full attention, answered all of my questions without rushing me and explained every detail in clear, easy-to-understand/non-medical language…but just enough jargon to display clear knowledge and professionalism. I really appreciated both of their honesty in telling me what treatments would and wouldn’t benefit me. Dr. Ives and Kylie were caring, patient and never pushy. I hate being put on the spot and pressured in these settings and I never once felt like that. During my treatments, they checked in often ensuring I was comfortable and afterwards, during my recovery, they personally followed up to ensure everything was healing well. The results are amazing—natural, visible and exactly what I hoped for. I’ll absolutely be back and highly recommend this outstanding team for anyone looking for skilled, thoughtful, and genuinely caring aesthetic professionals.

I had my top surgery done by Dr. Ives in May of 2023 and I couldn't be happier with my experience or my results. From the very beginning he was incredibly kind, understanding and patient. He made me feel comfortable and respected throughout the entire process. His professionalism and compassion really stood out. The surgery itself went well! My recovery was smooth, mostly painless and I had no complications at all. I followed all of Dr. Ives post op instructions carefully and it truly paid off, I have very minimal scarring so I would say my results healed beautifully. Dr. Ives also followed up with me and made sure everything was going well which gave me a lot of peace of mind. Now, a few years later I'm still extremely satisfied with my results. His work truly speaks for itself Dr. Ives is not only an amazing doctor but also an artist. I highly recommend him to anyone considering top surgery.
