About Dr. James

Dr. James K. Amsberry is a board-certified plastic surgeon in La Mesa/San Diego, CA with dual specialization in plastic surgery and otolaryngology-head & neck surgery. His decision to become a doctor was reaffirmed during his Navy career, where he had the privilege of taking care of combat wounded and their families for more than twenty years. He is experienced in skull base surgery, endocrine surgery, facial plastic and reconstructive surgery, and head and neck microvascular reconstruction and oncology. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
