About Dr. James

Dr. James Anthony is a board-certified plastic surgeon with over 20 years of experience serving patients in San Francisco and the Bay Area, known for producing natural results with rapid recovery times. He earned his medical degree from SUNY Downstate Medical Center College of Medicine and completed residency training at New York-Presbyterian / Weill Cornell Medical Center and the University of California, San Francisco. Following his residency, Dr. Anthony served on the faculty at UCSF for over 12 years, training more than 40 plastic surgeons before opening his private practice in San Francisco in 2002. He has been named a "Best Doctor in America" continuously since 1996 and has received multiple Castle Connolly Top Doctor awards.
