WOW! Dr. Shoukas and his staff are amazing. Dr. Shoukas is a miracle worker and my breast reduction has been life changing. He, as well as every member of his staff, are empathetic and really take the time to listen and explain every step of the surgery and aftercare. I couldn't be more pleased with the results. You are in excellent hands when you choose Dr. Shoukas.

I had weight loss surgery 2 years ago, I went to Dr. Shoukas in September for consultation to have skin removal done, stomach, arms and inner upper thighs. In September he told me to loose 10 to 15 pounds more and come back to see him. My weight loss has been much slower now of course but I really want this done and I have been waiting for many years to have my stomach done (was always told to have the weight loss surgery first) so I finally did and yeah I have lost weight and I feel much better but I was told to loose that 10 to 15 pounds so I lost the 10 pounds by adding extra exercise and working really hard, I called the office today to schedule an appointment to go back in and see Dr, Shoukas hoping to have this stomach done sometime within March as I am going away in August and want to make sure I am fully healed before that. The person who I spoke to about blew me off you are not at the correct BMI you are almost there but you need to be at 30 you are at 30.4 and then you have to stay at that weight for 3 months before he will do it. MY Reply to Dr. Shoukas: I was told by you in September: " Loose 10 to 15 more pounds and them come back to see me" I lost 10 and I called to schedule the appointment as I was told by you, I figured it would take about a month to get and appointment I know you are busy. You never told me I would have to maintain the weight for 3 months. Yes you did tell me about the surgery and the healing and I took that all in and did exactly as you told me to do. Again you never said it would be 3 months at least after loosing the 10-15 pounds if you had I never would have called to schedule now. I have taken this weight loss surgery very seriously and am doing everything I was told to do. The person I spoke to was rude and had a very non caring tone when she basically cut me off and was very short with me. Yes I hung up after saying goodbye. I am not frustrated with myself and I do not have the inability to meet certain safety criteria I have already met the criteria you told me to meet.

I must preface my review by saying I am currently under , the care of another plastic surgeon, who has explained why my scars aren't healing. I had two unnoticeable cysts removed on my face by Dr. Shoukas, which has now left my face disfigured. My current doctor repeatedly asked me if it was a plastic surgeon that performed the surgery as it was that poorly done and they couldn't believe it. Cuts were made against the natural lines of the skin. One scar isn't so bad, but because it goes against the skin, it has created what is known in the industry as "dog ears", or lumps on either side of the scar. I am needing further surgery to correct this. The other scar also goes against the skin, and the incision is about 1/3 longer that it needed to be. This scar cannot be fixed. It has become infected no less than three times, basically because of the way it was stitched from underneath. I would strongly recommend seeking out another doctor.

My experience is excellent. Every time I go it's always a warming and wonderful experience. Starting with staff and ending with the doctor. Dr. Shoukas is amazing. He makes you feel comfortable. He's professional and very easy to talk to.

The place was a star class experience from beginning to end. All the representatives were professional and courteous. Dr. Shoukas impressed me with his personality, communication skills, knowledge and expertise on breast double mastectomy surgery. I wish I had visited Dr. Shoukas prior to my removal surgery but I am happy that he is so qualified to help me with repairing my bad removal by another physician.
