Dr Jacobson was the third doctor that I consulted with my basal thumb arthritis and he gave me the best approach, other than cortisone shots and surgery, with mitigating the persistent pain using practical and simple approaches. First, he prescribed a new thumb brace meta push, that was way more effective than OTC braces recommended by a previous doctor. Second , he recommended a four session “Thumb School” where I learned behavioral changes, exercises and home therapies. I asked him how come I have not heard of this before and he said that he invented the Thumb School concept. Both were game changers and gave me the confidence and strength to manage a debilitating condition. Most importantly, Dr Jacobson listened to me on how I go about my daily life and together, we planned an annual course of action. I feel more confident and prepared as I approach this year’s activities including surgery by year’s end.

I cannot recommend Dr. Jacobson enough. When my 8-year-old son broke his finger, I called a list of about 20 orthopedists and it was nearly impossible to get a timely appointment. As I was losing hope and planning to wait 3 days and drive out to NYC, Dr. Jacobson called me back and explained that he has young kids of his own and knows what it’s like, and that it’s very important to come in asap in case the bone needed to be reset. His office was closing soon for the night and I wouldn’t get there in time, but he so kindly offered to stay behind and wait for us to get there so that my son could get immediate care. My son’s bone did need to be reset, and Dr. Jacobson magically was able to keep my son distracted with conversation while realigning the bone by simply pulling on the finger slowly until it was straight. It was a no drama no stress visit- my son didn’t complain or even say ouch at any point! Dr. Jacobson then arranged for us to go get a top of the line splint and sent us on our way with thorough instructions. He was so personable and funny that my son was actually excited to return for his follow up appointments. I hope for no more broken bones but my son plays a lot of sports and something tells me that we will be seeing Dr. Jacobson again in the future, and we are very thankful to have found him! Thank you for everything Dr. Jacobson!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience with Dr. Jeffery Jacobson and his team. From the very first consultation, Dr. Jacobson made us feel comfortable and explained every step of the process with clarity and patience. His professionalism and genuine care immediately put us at ease. The results of my son’s procedure exceeded our expectations not only is his surgical skill, which is outstanding, but his attention to detail truly shine through. We felt supported throughout the entire journey, with his staff always available to answer questions and provide reassurance. What impressed us most was Dr. Jacobson’s combination of expertise and compassion. He treats patients like individuals, not just cases and that personal touch made all the difference. We left feeling more confident and grateful. If you’re considering plastic surgery, I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Jeffery Jacobson. He is a gifted surgeon who delivers exceptional results.

Dr Jacobson performed finger surgery on Mary Pinciaro. She was completely satisfied with the outcome and conveyed her appreciation to Dr Jacobson. He was very detailed when he explained elements of the procedure and explained what to expect post surgery. Advised her of need for therapy and recommended Motion Sports Therapy that was rated #1 in hand therapy. The follow up visit was also helpful and suggested another 6 weeks of therapy. He dated he was happy with her progress. Would definitely recommend Dr Jacobson to anyone needing hand surgery.
