I almost died after having a botched panniculectomy that turned necrotic early this year. I was hospitalized and required multiple debridements and was left without skin on my abdomen for several days, needing to be fully covered with a very large wound vac. Dr. Tamir and his team quite literally saved my life. They worked with infectious disease to handle my infection. Most importantly, Dr. Tamir was able to close me without having to graft skin. I don’t know how he did it, but he did. The team at the wound care clinic, along with Dr. Tamir, took phenomenal care of me. The nurses listened to me whine and cry as they removed a few staples at a time during each one of visits as I healed. Thank you for saving my life. I will never take a single day for granted. If you are looking at options for wound care, look no further. Dr. Tamir is the BEST.
