Dr. Rubin and his Staff are very professional, friendly and accommodating. Referral was made by my employer for a Worker's Compensation Claim for treatment. I would highly recommend and definitely refer this Hand Specialist and his Team to my coworkers, friends and family.

A family member of mine had a work accident and was referred here by workers comp. Everything seemed to be going well but after surgery and after receiving payment, they no longer cared. The doctor was fine, seemed knowledgeable. What appalled me what his assistant, Brandi. I have never seen such mannerisms. I thought maybe my family member may have misunderstood. I spoke to her directly to address some concerns. She was dismissive, indifferent, and not what I would expect from a healthcare worker. My family member works in a heavy lifting factory and if you have surgery in your arm, how are you expected to work? Apparently, workers comp only gives a week off of work, max 2 weeks. They release you to work with restrictions. Again, how can you work when you haven't been to therapy yet and your arm is still inflamed and hurts? There is something very concerning about this. The other receptionist was kind. Everyone has the right to advocate for themselves if they don't feel well or do not feel capacitated to work. If you can, find somewhere else.

As others have said on here. My case is a work comp injury too. Same issues. Doctor gave me an injection which helped a little bit I am still having problems. The Doctor continued to dismiss my complaints even though I still have pain and still have obvious swelling after the injections started to wear off. Returned me to full duty mmi of 0%. I even asked if he couldn't figure out what the problem was other than overuse, to refer me to someone that could. Nope, he released me knowing I was not better. Told me if I was still having issues to go to my primary or come back in a year.. it's work comp! Why would I do that!?? Now I'm released, still in pain, still have swelling , no grip strength and unsure what to even do.. it seems like if you are on work comp and go to this doctor, he dismisses you regardless of your symptoms.

Disabled veteran who was injured at work with elbow injury was released to go back to work with no restrictions knowing that I can’t physically do what is required of me at work. Even with physical therapy notes saying I couldn’t lift more than 20lbs but my job requires me to lift man hole lids in excess of 150lbs. What kind of patient care is he really providing? We need real doctors who care about patients instead of getting a check.

I’m going to keep my review very honest. Beyond poor practice. I also came here as a workers comp patient for a well known company, everything Yasi said here in the reviews is extremely spot on. My first impression was the dr yelling at the assistant and bossing her around. Dr is extremely lazy, apathetic, and unintelligent. He doesn’t know what he’s doing. He has an old outdated mindset, very surface level thinking. Will dismiss you from treatment if your symptoms are too complicated for him to deal with. You might as well diagnose yourself using Google. The only good thing I have to say is the ladies at the reception desk were fantastic. Janet was the only woman whose name I got and she has excellent mannerisms. If I were you, I would stay away from this Dr by all means.
