About Dr. Jonathan

Dr. Jonathan L. Kaplan is a board-certified plastic surgeon in San Francisco, California and founder of Pacific Heights Plastic Surgery. He earned his medical degree and Master of Public Health from LSU Health Sciences Center New Orleans School of Medicine in 2000, completed a general surgery residency at Louisiana State University, and a plastic surgery residency at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, training alongside the team that performed the first US face transplant. Dr. Kaplan is affiliated with California Pacific Medical Center and previously practiced in Baton Rouge for six years before establishing his San Francisco practice.
