I can not thank Dr. Christiano and his staff for their unconditional support throughout my whole top surgery (ftm gender affirming). I was treated with care from day one. All my needs were met to the fullest. My first appointment I went in with 4 pages of notes. And they took the time to answer everything. I never felt rushed or embarrassed. I am no longer ashamed of my body. Thank you for giving me the gift of comfort.

I waited 25 years post breast cancer to have some collateral damage corrected. Dr. Cristiano listened, made a recommendation beyond what I was asking, and did a great job with what he had to work with. He was patient, compassionate, sweet, kind, had a fabulous bedside manner and I could not have been in better hands. Not every patient will connect with every doc and that is personal/personality related, has nothing to do with expertise, quality, or facts.

Terrible bedside manner and rude. He talked to me as if I didn’t know/understand my own medical history. He spent upwards of 15 minutes lecturing me on unrelated medical issues that he has no experience with. His mask was down for the majority of the visit, despite knowing I have a complex medical history. Only a small fraction of the time was actually spent discussing top surgery. Do not go if you have any type of medical history or care about being respected.

Doctor does not respect the variances in patient medical history/experience and when he finds a disagreement with a patient he immediately resorts to snide remarks and outright insults. I understand a doctor’s preferences, but when personal bias interferes with your respect to the patient it’s dangerous. As someone from a medical family I was aghast at his lack of bedside manner. Avoid if you are not a standard case in need of a standard solution; he will not work with you and worse yet he will potentially insult you about it.

Well First I want to start by saying Thank you Dr. Christiano! Now let me say he's and excellent surgeon. I had gotten a refferal to go see him from my primary care physician, the very first appointment with him I knew I wanted to return. I'm over 40yrs old I'm 5ft and I have a over 6yr old. So one can wonder way is she saying that well I'll tell you...Not only am I over 40 having a baby then I devoloped a large size breast for my size. I've had them for 6yrs and the pain that I've had to endure for those 6yrs! .....So Dr.Christiano said he can help. And that he did! Surgery day came and went and it's now healing. So if your looking for professionalism thoroughness and just a Nice human go see him! Once again Thank you Dr. Christiano.
