I consulted with Dr. Bruckman for my osteonecrosis. He seemed to be knowledgeable and experienced on my case. He said I will need surgery. We agreed to have it done ASAP as there are risks of infection. It's been more than 2 weeks, nothing has been done to submit a request for pre-approval with my insurance. I called several times and I can only get to "Care Center" who has no info to share. I asked to be transferred to Dr. Bruckman's office and they said that can't be done. I can only speak with the people from the answering service. I messaged several times through My Health and got no reply. TERRIBLE! And this is Stanford?

The communication is terrible. I had an MRI done for my TMJ and nobody called to follow up on my results and when I finally called to follow up on my own, they never really explained my results. I really don't know what my diagnosis is till this day. Completely unorganized and out of touch with patients. They're just a bunch of robots getting paid.

Terrible experience. Had a surgery and two revision surgeries because of recurring infections. The infections were severe and painful and have lasted a cumulative 8 months, but he wouldn't refer me to infectious disease or other help. Finally did when my third surgery was still not successful. Outright doesn't seem to care.
