I had such a wonderful experience with Dr. Sweis and the entire office. Dr. Sweis truly stands out for her kindness, knowledge, and genuine care she shows for her patients. She took the time to listen and educate me without making me feel rushed. I’m grateful for such a positive experience and highly recommend Dr. Sweis and her team.

Dr. Shaw and his staff are absolutely amazing!! He does impeccable work and his staff Always makes you feel so comfortable and welcomed!! I would highly recommend them to everyone! Definitely give them a five star!! Lynn Werkmeister

I went to this doctor hoping for a consult. I paid $125-150 for this consult just to be told that she would like to refer me to another individual for something I hadn’t even asked for…okay whatever I am pretty go with the flow. The only requirement I really had was saying that I would like all my procedures done at once, she then told me that they could probably collab together to make that happen. I go to the referral appointment of this other surgeon Ranzer, where I then had to wait an hour after my scheduled wait time, to then be told that no, he would not do all the procedures at one time and no, he couldn’t even do the thing she had sent me to him for and there was absolutely no mention of working with Sweis. So not only was this a HUGE waste of my time but I just got a bill for this referral appointment for $300 from UIC. This is the most insane experience I ever had, to be charged to see Sweis and then be charged $300 for this waste of a UIC plastic surgeon appointment who wasn’t even willing to do the one thing I had made clear I wanted. I am beyond frustrated with this whole experience. I wasted time and a ton of money for this. I would NOT recommend Sweis for a consult nor her horrible referral Ranzer..

Dr Sweis was extremely professional and very honest. She did not try to upset me, or convince me that I needed any work. In fact, after my consultation and some thought, I have decided not to have any work done.

I’m beyond grateful to have found Dr. Gikas. I underwent a rhino/septoplasty with him two months ago, and it was absolutely one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. From my first consultation, Cheri and Dr. Gikas made me feel genuinely welcome, comfortable, and at home. I had consulted with several other surgeons in the city prior to finding Dr. Gikas, and he was the first surgeon to take a look at my nose and tell me I had a deviated septum that needed to be corrected for better breathing (which I'd always wondered). He also took the time to ask and really listen to what I wanted to change about my nose. My recovery process was smooth and painless. Not only can I breathe so much better, but the aesthetic result is beautiful and better than anything I'd imagined. My nose fits my face SO well. Dr. Gikas truly has a gift for both artistry and detailed precision. I couldn’t recommend him more! You will be in great hands.
