Dr Nigam did my husband’s nerve and carpal tunnel surgery. He is an amazing surgeon. He is kind, professional, thorough and skillful. He listens to you, explains everything carefully and in detail. He made sure that any concerns were addressed. We have so much confidence in him. His MA,Trish, is awesome! They answered all our questions, were super helpful and made sure that he got the best care possible. We are so appreciative of them as a team.

I had a procedure done on my left hand at a large academic university hospital. The procedure was a failure, and I was left with a weaker somewhat deformed left hand. I googled hand surgeons and was pleasantly surprised to find someone with Dr.Nigam’s credentials, available with Sentara. Meeting Dr. Nigam and his team was wonderful!! I had the procedure redone on my left hand and it turned out extremely well. It’s very difficult to redo a procedure previously done poorly. I’m a physician myself and my expectations are somewhat high. My hand is looking a lot better and gaining strength. Dr. Nigam is a very kind and down to earth person, who is extremely caring and takes very good care of his patients. I would give him and his team 10 stars if I could! Highly recommend him without any reservations.

I was in a nearly fatal car accident, and after 8 months and 10 surgeries from other doctors, I can confidently say that Dr. Nigam stands out as the best. Bedside manner...check. Easy to talk to....check. Skilled at his craft....check. I also noticed that, based on interactions, he treats his team of coworkers with respect and value. He is very humble, and has a good sense of humor. I had a skin flap transplant on my leg, and not even a whole day after surgery, he stopped by to check on me AND he changed the dressing on my leg. He spent time cleaning it up and everything, which he could've easily just left a nurse to do. Another review said they wish he was their PCP, and I completely agree. Thank you so much doc!

When I decided to do a review of Dr. Nigam and his staff I looked at previous positive reviews. Those reviews Were not exaggerated. Over a period of several months this team both coordinated and performed procedures required to remove a large cyst on my lower leg that had turned cancerous and heal the resulting wound. During this time I was treated more like a family member than just another patient. I would recommend Dr. Nigam and his team to anyone who needs his services.

Dr. Nigam’s bed side manners were amazing! He even said a prayer for us before my husband Ron went into surgery. How amazing! The staff there are also great. We highly recommend Dr. Nigam. My husband and I are so impressed with his Knowledge and his beautiful technique. My husband never had any pain!! The best experience when it came to surgery and after care.
