I’ve always been self-conscious about my nose, and it had a lasting impact on my self-esteem…In my 30s, I finally decided to stop just wanting to get my nose done and actually make it happen. A colleague of mine had septoplasty-rhinoplasty with Dr. Mabourakh and the results were excellent, which gave me the confidence to move forward. I’m thrilled I did!
From the very first consultation to my postoperative appointments, Dr. Mabourakh made me feel heard and understood. Before my surgery, I emphasized that I wanted to maintain my natural look, just refined and balanced. Not only did he deliver subtle and beautiful results, but also exceeded my expectations! I was amazed at how little pain I had after the surgery and it was a remarkably smooth recovery (definitely abide by their preoperative instructions). Sometimes I wish I had done this sooner, but Dr. Mabourakh was undoubtedly worth the wait.
One of the most important things I’ve learned throughout this process is the importance of patience and trust in the journey! I cannot stress this enough. The first couple of months after surgery can be a bit challenging as your nose settles into its final shape, and it’s easy to get anxious. Trust me, the results just get better with time! After three months, I am blown away by how amazing my nose looks; it is even more beautiful than I had hoped! Also, while the 3D renderings are helpful, I’d take them with a grain of salt. The actual results are even better.
What further made this experience special was the team. Dr. Mabourakh’s staff, especially Amy, Michaela, and Brenna, are absolutely wonderful! They provided (and still provide) unwavering support, understanding, and professionalism. It’s so important to have a compassionate, supportive team when undergoing surgery, and they are just that. They made me feel comfortable and never judged me for wanting to make a change to my appearance. Their kindness and Dr. Mabourakh’s exceptional skills and attention to detail made a world of difference in my recovery and overall experience.
I cannot thank Dr. Mabourakh and his incredible staff enough. I’m so grateful for my results, and their expertise and care throughout this entire process!
