About Dr. Matthew

Dr. Matthew Murphy is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Stanford University, specializing in hand surgery, microsurgery, and reconstructive surgery. He earned his medical degree from the University of Ottawa School of Medicine in 2012 and completed his plastic surgery residency at the University of Toronto in 2017, followed by a fellowship at the University of Toronto in 2018. Dr. Murphy holds dual board certification from the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
