Inside the practice

Everything about Dr. O’Toole’s practice has been a dream to work with. From scheduling, to seeing Dr. O’Toole herself. Julissa works very hard behind the scenes in making sure everything is done to perfection, and Dr. O’Toole’s professionalism and cofidence make you feel so safe and sure. She knows what she is doing, and from what I’ve seen, she is the best at what she does. She and Julissa are the best team, and my experience with them has been nothing short of perfection. Never have I had such a great experience. I will update following surgery.

One of the most compassionate, thorough, and knowledgeable physicians I’ve ever met. She is so consultative and professional. The world needs more physicians like Dr. O’Toole; that truly puts her patients above all else. Thank you Dr. O'Toole!

My before, photo of me in the table, and then at 13 days post-op and 4 weeks post-op photos attached: I have a little ways to go until all the swelling is gone. But isn’t it fabulous!! Like a famous sculpture, look at what Megan O’Tool created?! I’m 63 years old, 5’5” and 160 LBS at time of surgery. Here’s the truth ladies. If you gained then lost a lot of weight, after child baring age, a tummy tuck is no longer just for looks. Your health may depend on it. What happened to me is my stomach muscles spread apart but did not close back when I lost the weight. I’m an athlete, I’ve worked mad hard over the last 13 years to get here. I quit smoking, I cleaned up my diet, and exercise in multiple modalities, I even got my black belt at age 55. But look at my little pencil legs stick out from under a mass of FAT that’s never going anywhere without help. Every time I did a push up, I was just pushing my muscle further apart. They were laying over near by my oblique muscles. So it left a huge unprotected gap. Anyway, all kinds of issue will occur if this is left unfixed - sexual issues, and bowel movement issue just to name a few, and you are just one wrong push away from a major blow out like a hernia or worse. I had no idea before surgery how important this was for my health - I just knew I got painful ulcers under my skin flap. SO If you have a huge amount of belly fat on top of a muscle gap, it’s probably not going away no matter how tiny you get. In fact, God won’t let you get rid of it because without muscles to protect you, FAT is the only thing you got covering your inners from getting to close to a dangerous world. O’Tool to the rescue! So why Megan O’Tool? Guys, she’s a bad ass. She commands a room, yet everyone loves working with her over at the hospital. She understands women’s issues. She offers fare pricing. I fell in love with her, seriously she’s magic. I’m even thinking of getting rid of the arm and leg flaps because I think I might be able to afford it. Getting a tummy tuck isn’t easy. But please do not fear it. It’s so worth it. And thinking it’s just for looks is wrong thinking, and that thinking kept me from doing this for years, because I love myself as is. I’m fabulous! But wowza I have properly functioning muscles now, and that just feels so good. Plus I get to look good too? You kidding me? Score! O’tool is so thorough and precise in her endeavors to carve you out a new look. She’s got a good eye, she’s an artist surgeon. You can tell at first meeting, she love’s what she does! She just wants to do her best, so that you look and function at your best. Look, I love her so much, I even made a movie about her and my three month pre-op journey. I’m not a friend of hers nor am I a paid spokesperson. I’m just a huge fan - Check it: YouTube channel @PaintedArtist movie titled “Calling all Prayer Warriors, I’m having surgery and I’m so excited”. Also follow me or message me on FB Jana.Lynch I’m so willing to tell you everything I know about this now that I’m post-op.

Had a very honest and non pushy consultation. Talking with Dr.O'toole about my insecurities and problems areas was a little nerve wrecking, but she made me feel very comfortable with it. She thoroughly explained the procedures and what my realistic results would be. Some surgeons will tell you what you want to hear so you will move forward with the procedure. You can tell Dr.O'toole is not one of those plastic surgeons. She really cares about her patient satisfaction and outcome and will give you her honest unbiased opinion 🙏

After a difficult preventative mastectomy in 2021 that left me with significant rippling and divots in my chest wall, I felt ashamed of my body and lost confidence in myself. The implants were positioned incorrectly and looked like they were glued onto my body. I consulted multiple surgeons, but all told me nothing more could be done—that my results were as good as it gets. When my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2023, I was determined to find hope and help for her. As I searched for a plastic surgeon, I discovered Dr. Megan O’Toole. There was something about her that made me think I needed to consult with her—just one more surgeon to see if there was anything that could be done for my situation. During my initial consultation, she took her time, came up with a comprehensive game plan, and treated me like family. I underwent my final reconstructive surgery with Dr. O’Toole in October 2024. Now, eight months later, I am fully recovered and absolutely in love with my results. For the first time in years, I truly feel like myself again—a feeling I thought I’d lost forever. When someone asks me, “If I were a family member, who would you recommend I go to?” I would absolutely say Dr. Megan O’Toole. My mom is now finishing up her mastectomy reconstruction journey with her and happy with the results so far. Dr. O’Toole, thank you for never giving up on us and for changing our lives for the better. We are forever grateful for your compassion, expertise, and dedication.
