I came here because of the good reviews for the Halo laser. I have very sensitive, acne-prone skin, and I don’t feel that was handled appropriately. After my Halo treatment I experienced the worst breakout I’ve ever had. I missed the 4–6 week follow-up due to international travel and returned about two months later seeking help. I was told the breakout was likely caused by skincare products, even though I wasn’t even asked what I was using. I spent around $2,000 hoping to fix my insecurities, and instead my skin worsened to the point that it has killed my confidence completely As long as there are no complications from the laser you’re probably fine. If there are, I did not feel there was sufficient knowledge or support to manage them. I also overheard staff speaking negatively about another unhappy client in the waiting room which is super unprofessional. Sure you can talk about annoying clients but at least be quiet about it This may work for people with already resilient skin but would be cautious if you have real skin concerns.

In the summer of 2023 I had a mommy makeover done at Austin Plastic Surgery Institute with Dr. Scott Haydon. The staff there was very nice and friendly. His nurse Wanda is the BEST. She was very knowledgeable and answered any questions or concerns that I had Pre and Post Op. I liked that Wanda and Dr. Haydon are were very easy to talk to and I felt comfortable with them from the beginning. Unfortunately, I did have an issue with my tummy scar not healing very well due to a couple stitch that didn’t properly dissolve, and my scar didn’t look as I wanted, I knew a revision would be needed in order to achieve the results I wanted. Dr. Haydon agreed. I know things happen and it was just unfortunate that my results were impacted and I was very understanding. Fast forward to January 2026 and it’s only been a week since my scar revision and I am SO HAPPY with the outcome already. I highly recommend Dr. Haydon if you’re looking for someone who is highly experienced , Board Certified and listens to his patients gives you his best professional and honest recommendations.

Dr. Haydon and his entire team were incredible throughout my entire procedure. From the start, I was impressed by the tech the office has to show me exactly what to expect; seeing a realistic preview gave me confidence, and my actual results matched that vision. What truly sets this practice apart is the genuine care. Dr. Haydon and Nurse Wanda made me feel like more than just a patient—their excitement for my results made me feel truly special. Communication was seamless leading up to the day (I sent a lot of emails and texts that were always responded too in a timely manner- even after hours!), and Dr. Haydon personally sat with me before the procedure to ensure I felt prepared and at ease. On the business side, Jill was wonderful to work with regarding fees. Everything was transparent with no hidden costs, and the value for the level of talent is very fair. Samantha in the office is also a delight—always friendly and welcoming. Dr. Haydon’s experience and talent are evident in his work, and I’ve ended up with results even better than I imagined. I’d recommend this team to anyone!

Words cannot begin to express the feeling of power that Dr. Hayden gave to me. I went in for a breast augmentation consultation not having any clue as to size measurements that I wanted. I told him I was looking for something natural. I have a hourglass figure and have always been super slim on top with a curvy bottom. I told him my concerns and he listened and took note of everything. He gave me his personal recommendation as to what surgery he would suggest and why, taking in consideration of my chest measurements and body type. He was also training his daughter who was alongside him throughout every single appointment, and surgery, which gave me such a positive feeling that he was not only a great role model in his family, but that he is extremely caring and patient. I am now 3 months Post- Operation and I couldn’t be happier. Austin Plastic Surgery Institution is the place to go to if you need any cosmetic surgeries. Wanda was my nurse on Dr. Hayden’s team and is by far the nicest nurse I’ve ever met in my life. She’s extremely comforting and cares to check up on you after surgery. I was taken back by how attentive this team is.

Deciding to go through with an elective surgery is nerve wracking, but Dr Haydon, Wanda, and the rest of the staff are very thorough in explaining the process and realistic outcomes. I felt no pressure from anyone after the initial consultation to make any hasty decisions. For my surgery, I ended up going through with a septorhinoplasty. Here I am 10 months out with very thick skin and a bit of uneven swelling, but I have no worries at all as, through the interactions I’ve had with Dr Haydon so far, I trust his expertise and follow his logic. Plastic surgery isn’t magic, and he doesn’t pretend it is. I’m still going through the healing journey as thick skin takes much longer to settle, but I am extremely grateful that I went through with the procedure. I’m excited to see how much better I can look in 6 months to 1 year. I would also like to commend Dr Haydon’s bedside manner. He is non-pretentious, very personable and very easily managed to calm me down on the day of the procedure when I was wracked with nerves. You can tell he is a girl dad. Thank you for the experience!
