NYC’s angel with a syringe Backstory: Before visiting her, I’d only gotten cheek filler with a well renowned plastic surgeon in my hometown (Miami). I ALWAYS wanted cheek bones so sharp they could slice a loaf of bread. Happy with the results and more confident, I was open to injecting other areas. But because I wasn’t UNhappy with any specific area in the way I was with my pancake cheeks, I had NO CLUE what to ask for. What if I requested injections along my jaw and left looking like an Amazon box full of regret?? I was terrified to mess with my face when I wasn’t miserable with it. I wanted enhancements that would maintain a natural look. SO!!!!! If you’re in a similar position (open to getting injections but NO clue what to even ask for), GO TO DR. G!! Review: She studies your facial features, face shape, and listens to what your goal is as soon as you sit in her chair. She’ll circle you and study how light/shadows show on certain areas and use her knowledge of the products to make recommendations that work FOR you. I’m sure more happens in that incredible mind of hers. She isn’t intimidating. She really is a doctor for her patients — valuing their care, safety, and happiness. I felt comfortable as soon as I sat in her chair and was offered a peppermint patty. I was able to say I had no clue what I want to do to my face and comfortably express what I was hoping to achieve. She’s a doctor with artistry who works with you. Keep in mind her appointments tend to last long — not a complaint but a note if you have specific schedule. She isn’t a machine rushing you out for the next client. She really tailors her work to best fit you while ensuring you understand her recommendations. She just really cares and is very good at what she does. For real. I cannot recommend her enough. She’s a lovely person with impeccable skill, great bedside manner and so much intelligence in her field. Again, the SKILL!!! If you’re looking for a sign, just go. Book the appointment.
