DO NOT GO HERE! I regret going to get my wisdom teeth extraction at this dentistry. The whole staff was incredibly rude and unprofessional prior to my extraction. I hated talking to the front desk because any questions I had about them talking with my insurance they always gave me a hard time and were unpleasant. I paid $400 out of pocket on top of my procedure for a scan and a consultation because they didnt want to accept my fmx from my dentist. The "consultation" was watching a 10 min video of the procedure and the surgeon repeating the same thing the video said. It was probably 5 mins max I spent talking with the doctor. I spent more time in the waiting room vs talking to the doctor itself. The procedure itself went fine but I was in excruciating pain. They gave me Tylenol-Codeine but I couldn't take it because I needed something non-drowsy because I was returning to work and still in pain so I called and ask if the doctor can give me anything else like Ibuprofen 800mg ( which I have taken before due to my wisdom teeth pain and explained the situation to them) and he refused to write me an Rx and told me to take otc tylenol instead because he "can't." 2 weeks later my extractions got infected and I went back for my post op appt and again the doctor refused to diagnose me or give me antibiotics and said it is fine I just need to clean it better. I went to urgent care the following day and the doctor there told me why would they tell me that when it was clean it was infected and gave me the treatment I needed. I don't know how this surgeon still has his medical license. All those awards he has postered on his walls must be fake because he is the most rude unprofessional doctor Ive ever dealt with and the negligence to his patients is disgusting.

Please don’t go to this surgeon, refer yourself to another surgeon if you need any work done! This surgeon simply has his patience coming in and out like a herd of elephants!! My daughter’s experience started out with her begging taken back for her wisdom teeth extraction. The medical assistant didn’t know right from wrong when placing the EKG stickers on her chest to monitor her heart. Then my daughters waits for the doctor and he just barges in with his nurse, no knocking, no introduction, no eye contact. He came in very aggressive and knocking the tools over which made it very uneasy. He went straight by in asking questions, and did not make the time to introduce nor explain anything to my daughter. When she was waking up from the anesthesia, she was getting lightly slapped on her cheek to wake up and get out of the chair. She didn’t even have the opportunity to open her eyes for more than 30 seconds before getting pulled out of the chair. The worst front desk experience ever!! I called to see if there was a stronger medication than Tylenol and the medical assistant couldn’t answer simple question and told me to go to CVS and get pills. They send you home with a small bag of gauze but not one piece of information for any emergency to contact them with. Lastly, they did not mention and post-op or checkin at all.

My worst experience with a dentistry, I came in their office by a reference of a friend back in May 2023. Waiting was 1 month to get on their schedule, they were supposed to extract 4 wisdom teeth, I did not know how painful this could be but they made it be 10 times worst, though vibe in the office and rude staff with inconsistent answer to simple questions. The doctor that made the procedure told me while doing the procedure that if I wanted more anesthesia we had to pay $700 which I understand the insurance not cover but why not to propose this option prior the procedure so I could be ready? bad practice I say, the were able to remove the top teeth, recovery was gnarly and extremely painful even on Hydrocodone every 6h. Two days ago (Jan 4th) I had the lower ones removed by a different professional with a better customer care, at a reasonable price and provided a decent practice, I'm barely swelling and no need of strong medication for pain, regardless that it is known the lower ones are more painful and trickiest. Posting this for future patients and for improvement of this office that serves the Hispanic community mostly.

To my community here in San Diego. Please be careful and avoid this office. I am 36, a business owner and neighbor in the community, father of 3 daughters and husband. Normal dude with a real concern for my safety and that of others. If anyone has questions or wants to know more about my experiences please feel free to contact me. This office is extremely unprofessional and provided me with the worst experience I have ever had at a dental practice. The staff was intentionally going out of their way to make my experience worse. The Dr. himself although appears to be well educated is not out for your best interest. In a nut shell, they tried to perform the wrong surgery, told me it was the right way to do it and than had to back step because of their mistake. Please take this review as honest and sincere. Take your time to find the right place when dealing with oral surgery.

My 18yo had all 4 wisdom teeth extracted and honestly I was a bit worried. I brought her home and she was without much swelling and no bruising at all. They gave us plenty of helpful information and answered our questions right away when she was feeling pain later in the day. Lovely office and kind doctor. We appreciate your kind professionalism. I am surprised at the lower ratings but they mostly seem insurance related.
