Loved Her, Excellent Outcome!
I had a bad cancer on my upper lip. Dr. Rooney had to close me up after another surgeon did the mohs surgery. As soon as I was finished with the mohs surgery, and they did not know how many hours it would take, Dr. Rooney was ready for me.

I wish I had read reviews first, I experienced pain during the procedure & reported , they didn’t care Office staff seems to be unorganized, asking me “when do you want to come back?” Really ? I ask or scar cream for the removal of 10 stitches the nurse said “ NO “ she doesn’t prescribe medication or creams ! Ok at one point they could not accommodate my schedule to take the stitches out and said just go to an out patient center… right and pay them when it’s already in the charge paid to you ! I won’t refer anyone to them They got my initial appointment messed up and when I showed up said I was supposed to be in Boca no I’m not but they did have the date wrong

This was not a good experience. I thought the assisting help was great, but the doctor was not careful & had horrible bedside manners. A hospital nurse said she has mood swings. She was supposed to do an all in one surgery, but I woke to find I'd need a second surgery. Within the first day, without warning, she pushed on my surgery site very hard so that I screamed. Three weeks later she yanked my drainage tubes out making me scream throughout her whole office. I actually think she enjoyed seeing me in pain. I had to go to another doctor to finish everything, and was told her "railroad tracks" stitching needed to be corrected. Oh, I forgot, she wanted me on Tylenol a week after surgery, and refused to prescribe me anything stronger. I had to go to my PCP and ask for pain medicine before my last prescription pill was used. This was a horrible experience for me. I had to write to the Hospital Board to report this, to help save someone else.

My mother experienced horrible bed side manner from this physician today. The receptionist who works there provided great customer service over the phone and in person. If a patient has experienced a traumatic accident, common courtesy should have been provided; especially for a first time visit and introduction. I understand that their could have been some frustration due to the inappropriate wound care from the recommending hospital, but to display frustrations with the patient is unprofessional and I wouldn’t recommend anyone to visit this location.
