A few days post reduction surgery he ignored my concerns about the pain and trouble I was having. Something wasn’t right. He never sat me back in the chair to see the problem area until I was sick. It turned out I had an infection, but he wouldn’t call it an infection. He referred to it as an “angry area.” That “angry area” lead to two rounds of antibiotics, a round of prescription ointment, and an additional 1-2 months of recovery from the anticipated 4-6 weeks. The notes from the office visits didn’t match what we discussed. If you decide to still use this doctor… check the office visit notes. Make sure they reflect your visits.
