Dr. Pauline Santos is skilled, knowledgeable, professional, considerate on so many levels, and absolutely knows what she’s doing. After having four babies back to back, and working extremely hard to get back into shape, I realized that I needed plastic surgery to get the results I wanted (I wanted my abs and flat stomach back). I am not only grateful that I chose Dr. Santos to perform my surgery, but feel extremely lucky to have found her and her skillset. I did my research. I found several highly recommended surgeons in the area to consult with, but when my husband and I met with Dr. Santos, my gut told me she was the surgeon for me. Even though I felt that way, I still thought it wise to consult with other surgeons and after meeting with each one, it made the decision even easier to go with Dr. Santos. Starting at my first consultation to follow up conversations thereafter, she was patient, extremely informative, and never tried upsell me on anything I didn’t want or need. In fact, I thought I needed a breast lift, and instead of getting more money out of me, she explained the pros and cons of it which ultimately helped me decide that it wasn’t something I needed. She saved me money, but more importantly guided me to a better overall look for myself.
She performed an abdomniplasty, abdominal separation surgery (diastasis recti repair), Lipo 360, and a breast augmentation. When I started, I wasn’t sure exactly the breast size of what I was going for, and she explained how important was for me to do my research and decide for myself as it was a personal decision and not hers to make. I genuinely appreciated her explanation as other surgeons in her position have given their opinion to just “get it done.” She never pressured or rushed me into making one of the biggest decisions of my life, for not only my body, but my personal health; she was patient and encouraging always explaining every option. From her calling on the night back home from surgery, to checking in over the next few days daily, to meeting with me weekly and in-person, her going above and beyond to ensure I was recovering perfectly did not go unnoticed.
I highly recommend her to anyone, and have already recommended her to friends and family. I also took the time to research her thoroughly, including her training, education, and any professional work history I could find about her; suffice it to say she is one of the top surgeons around and I am honored and grateful to have had her as my surgeon.
