Dr Harshbarger was supposed to fix a couple issues with my nose that a previous surgeon caused. On the initial visit, he said that he would fix the bridge that had some sharp bone fragments that would hurt when I wore my glasses and also fix the tip of my nose which had become much wider since the injury to my nose. I even showed him a picture of my face before the injury and he said it would be an easy fix to make my nose similar to what it was in the picture. Well, about 6 months later and my nose is grotesque. The tip is fatter and the bridge is as wide as the tip now. Instead of smoothing out the bridge and making straight again, he just slapped a piece of cadaver bone over on the rough side, which not only widened the bridge significantly, now my glasses sit way to the left now making it difficult to see through them. Now my nose looks comical which has made my self esteem very low. Also, there is a piece of cartridge that sticks down in my right nostril that restricts my finger to barely go into my nose now and one nostril is significantly larger than the other as well. This surgery was done through TriWest, the Veterans Affairs Insurance, so I get to see the bill that is submitted to the VA. There was two bills sent to the VA, one for around $65,000 and another for around $63,000. All that money and now I look like Bozo the clown, I could have went to Beverly Hills. got a top notch surgeon and got a Brad Pitt or George Clooney nose, but I just wanted my nose to look close to what it was before my injury. Not once has Dr Harshbarger reached out to me after the surgery, he also refuses to correct the problems that he caused, not that I would let him touch my face again, so now I will have to have another surgery to correct his mistakes. This guy may be have been good a long time ago reconstructing people's noses after a major accident just to get them functional, but DO NOT use him to cosmetically correct it, he will only make it worse.

Dr. Harshbarger’s team is amazing. They make you feel cared for long before your procedure and through recovery. I even got a call on the weekend from a nurse to see how I was healing following a facial procedure. Surgery is scary; it’s less scary when you know you’re in trustworthy hands.
