Inside the practice

My only regret is that I wish I had found Dr. Westreich sooner and had done my primary rhinoplasty with him. After my first surgery left me with a collapsed nasal valve, crooked nose, and terrible alarplasty scars, I was scared to have another surgery but I needed one to correct the aesthetic problems and medical issues I now faced. This review is going to be long because it’s a review I would have wanted to read to help me choose my surgeon. I’m a professional singer and not only did Dr. Westreich work with my functional issues to help me professionally, he worked with my timeline and was totally realistic about my recovery and got me back to work barely one month after my surgery! Definitely don't recommend jumping in that fast if you don't have to, but it was doable. If you have a normal job, you'll be totally fine to do your thing in 10 days-- maybe sooner if your surgery is less complex than mine was. I was skeptical of the closed approach because I was worried my problems were too complicated to fix without “seeing everything” like I had heard many doctors say was crucial in a revision, but I’m a total believer now that the approach doesn’t matter, the skill of the surgeon does. If you're also on the fence about open vs closed, understandable, but this doctor knows what he's doing. My revision had way more components than my primary and I barely had any bruising after this second operation, I didn’t lose any sensation in my nose, my tip hasn’t been hard at all during my recovery (last surgery my tip was rock solid and numb for months), and I didn’t even bleed into my dressing post op even with spreader grafts and turbinate reduction. I looked and felt SO awful after my first surgery— this recovery was so easy compared to that first open rhinoplasty. My revision really showed me how your surgeon completely affects the healing process. I could breathe so much better immediately after surgery— did not experience that with my first. I was also afraid of using cadaver rib, but honestly I’m so grateful I didn’t go through a rib harvest. I also had a temporalis graft and my incision is hidden behind my ear and not in my hairline at all. Other doctors said they had to go through the top of my head but Dr. Westreich's technique avoids any hair loss. It feels funny when it’s healing but that goes away pretty fast. My misplaced alarplasty scars were ~85% revised during the surgery (every other surgeon I met with said they wouldn’t touch them and it was best to just live with them) and while I didn’t expect much improvement, one side is 100% better and the tension and pulling stitch mark scars are GONE from both sides. I cried when I saw the improvement. The other side had a more complicated and indented scar that he wasn’t able to remove in this surgery which is a bummer, but he did move it to a more aesthetically pleasing location. We’re trying 5 FU injections to help my scars heal and there’s already an improvement in redness and swelling. Other surgeons weren’t sure they could get my bridge to be even 85% straight— my bridge is perfectly straight now because my nose looks the same from both profile angles which wasn't the case before or after my first surgery. Shout out to all the kind staff, but especially to Meghan who is the GOAT and who worked with me to have additional time with Dr. Westreich to refine my plan when I felt I wanted to make some changes after my consult. In my experience the pricing is incredibly fair down to the consult fee, considering the rates you’ll see for revisions, and they bill smoothly to your insurance if you want to/can go that route if you have medical components. I’ll write an update after one year as that will of course better determine the true success of my surgery, but right now I couldn't be happier or more grateful for how things turned out!

Dr Westreich is amazing. I had a septoplasty and corrective rhinoplasty performed and couldn’t be happier. I can breathe and easily now and my nose is no longer crooked or too narrow. It looks so natural that if you didn’t see it before you wouldn’t know I had anything done. He is also very friendly, professional and explains things in great detail. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Westreich’s office is truly exceptional. From the initial consultation through post-op care, every interaction with him and his team was positive, professional, and incredibly welcoming. The office itself, steps from Central Park, has a sophisticated, high-end NYC feel that immediately puts you at ease. Most importantly, my results are exactly what I hoped for: refreshed, natural, and never overdone. I couldn’t be happier and highly recommend Dr. Westreich and his team.

I had a very positive experience from start to finish. From my initial consultation through follow-up care, I consistently felt listened to, supported, and treated with genuine care and professionalism. Dr. Westreich and his team took the time to clearly explain expectations and thoughtfully answered all of my questions, which helped me feel comfortable and confident throughout the process. The entire staff was warm, kind, and attentive, and everything was handled smoothly and with care. Follow-up care and communication have been excellent, and I’ve felt supported throughout recovery. It’s clear that patient care and attention to detail truly matter here. I’m very grateful for my experience and would confidently recommend this practice.

I had such a great experience with Dr. Westreich and his entire team! I was running late to my appointment and they were incredibly accommodating—no attitude, no stress—they still took me right away. This was my second time doing EZ Gel with Dr. Westreich and I’m loving the results even more this time around. His nurses are so sweet and attentive, and they even made extra PRF from my blood and Dr. W used it during the same visit at no additional cost. Truly above and beyond service. I’ll definitely be returning for another session when I’m due for a touch-up!
