Dr. Najera and his staff are FANTASTIC!! I have had multiple procedures with Dr. Najera and have been exceedingly happy with the results. If you are comparing surgeons and/or trying to decide whether to have a procedure....the answer is YES, Dr Najera will make your desired results a reality.

⸻ Review for Dr. Garza – DIEP Flap Reconstruction When I first walked into Dr. Garza’s office, I was terrified. I had a bilateral mastectomy in 2019, followed by implant reconstruction. After a car accident, I had to have my implants replaced in 2023, and from that point forward I lived in constant pain. My breasts were misshapen, different sizes, and never felt right. I knew something was wrong—but three different plastic surgeons, including one of the premier reconstructive surgery centers in San Antonio, told me the same thing: I was advised to try physical therapy or scar massage and accept that this was as good as it would get. But I knew better. By the time I went to see Dr. Garza, I had already decided he was my last stop. If he told me the same thing, I was prepared to simply live with the pain and discomfort—even though it was emotionally and mentally devastating to look in the mirror and feel disfigured. From the very beginning, Dr. Garza listened. Truly listened. He immediately told me what no one else had: that my implants were not okay and that I had a grade IV capsular contracture. He validated what my body had been telling me all along and talked to me about real options to help me feel like myself again. I had previously been told that I didn’t have enough abdominal tissue for DIEP flap reconstruction. Dr. Garza disagreed. He looked at me and said, “I think we can do this—and I think it will turn out beautifully.” That moment changed everything. Within one month of my first visit, I was in surgery. Insurance was approved, everything was coordinated seamlessly, and the level of care I received from his staff during that month was extraordinary. I came into the office twice without appointments simply because I was scared. Each time, they said, “Come on in.” I was met with kindness, patience, emails, texts, reassurance, and genuine compassion. As a single woman with grown children who’s lives are hundreds of miles away and a limited support system in San Antonio, I was especially afraid—particularly of the pain. I can honestly say this: the pain was minimal. There was discomfort, yes, but far less than what I had lived with for years with implants. During surgery, Dr. Garza discovered nearly half a liter of yellow-white, milkshake-consistency fluid in my chest. When he told me this, I cried—not out of fear, but out of validation. I had been right. Something was wrong. And had Dr. Garza not listened and acted, who knows how sick I could have become. After surgery, Dr. Garza personally came in, held my hand, explained everything that had happened, and spoke with my family. His presence was calm, gentle, compassionate, and deeply human. I wish with all my heart that I had met Dr. Garza in 2019. If I had, I would have chosen DIEP flap reconstruction then and saved myself years of pain, fear, and emotional distress. To anyone terrified of the pain of DIEP flap surgery—please hear this: for me, it was far less than I anticipated and far easier than living with implants. I have spent six years researching surgeons across the United States. Without hesitation, I can say that Dr. Garza is the most brilliant reconstructive surgeon I have encountered. He completed my reconstruction in a true one-and-done surgery. I will never allow another surgeon to perform reconstructive work on my body. Dr. Garza is not just an exceptional surgeon—he is a gift to women navigating breast cancer and reconstruction. His skill, compassion, and willingness to truly hear his patients set him apart in every possible way. There simply are not enough words to express my gratitude.

Dr. Ramon Garza is the best! After being diagnosed with breast cancer, and then a month later, having a double mascetomy, I took some time to decide whether to rebuild or not. I never saw myself as a plastic surgery recipient, but after my 1st consult with Dr. Garza, it was clear that he is a talented artist. His gentle, kind demeanor of communicating all the steps of my rebuild, answering my 23 questions with complete patience, and just being very kind, can put any patient at ease. Ease is something you really want to hold onto after receiving a scary cancer diagnosis. He also answers all your concerns post-op via text- that is incredible customer service! I also want to give a shout out to his team for helping support me through my journey through my initial rebuild, and subsequent revisions. I feel like I could go on & on here, so I am stopping myself. Thank you Dr. Garza and team!

I am a return client for Dr. Najera for several cosmetic procedures. He is very kind, skilled and treats his return clients like VIPs. This time around, I worked with Lexi his surgery coordinator. She went above and beyond to get me on his schedule during an extremely busy time for his practice. I only had a small window of time to take PTO and she made it happen. Extremely grateful for this as it would have prolonged my surgery into 2026. I have a sense of confidence that this office, the surgeon and his staff will do everything in their power to accommodate his return patients. To me, this separates a good plastic surgeon from a great one. Highly recommend
