Dr. Robert Tuchler is a triple board-certified plastic, general, and hand surgeon with over 35 years of experience, practicing in Irvine, California. He earned his medical degree from Stony Brook University Renaissance School of Medicine in 1986 and completed general surgery training at Maimonides Medical Center and Bellevue Hospital, followed by plastic surgery and hand surgery training at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. Dr. Tuchler previously served as chief of plastic surgery at Kaiser Permanente Irvine Medical Center and as chief of surgery at Presbyterian/St. Luke's Medical Center in Denver.

I was hospitalized with a serious wound from another doctor's Vasar surgery problem. In a 20 minute hospital visit Dr Tuchler removed the dead tissue allowing me faster recovery. I will never forget his surprise visit that set me on my path to quicker recovery. He is highly skilled with a terrific demeanor. Blessed!

I arrived with an open wound. Dr Tuchler did not wash his hands. Then after he put on his gloves he opened a drawer, rummaged around, got what he wanted, opened the package and, still without washing his hands, without washing my face, began touching the open wound. The assistant came in later and also did not wash her hands, she had a quick swipe of gel, no gloves.

Hi repaired my nose after a basil cell skin cancer removal left a big hole on the bridge of my nose. He gave me options and made me feel very comfortable. He did a great job, and you can barely see my scar after only 2 months. I am so relieved and happy!
