Dr Brown is the best he has done hand surgery for me and going to do another surgery soon . Received a letter he was leaving OSU so sad to hear . Hoping I can follow him to where he goes.

Dear Dr. Ronald Brown, you are the best doctor that I have ever met. I recommend Dr. Ronald Brown to everyone who has an issue, or even a broken bone in their hands or fingers, or anything he specializes in. I truly want to thank you so much as you made me feel very comfortable and educated every step of the way. I also want to thank your amazing team, especially during the surgery. Note, this is in reference my my 92 year old grandpas appointment. RUDE STAFF! Contacted the office on March 14 to schedule a cataract consult with doctor Brown. After being on hold for several minutes, I got through. The person who was scheduling had difficulty with all parts of the call from finding the referral to comprehending a birthday. She confirmed we had an appointment set (first available) for June 11. The following week, got a text from them to schedule my appointment. Then the following week, I got another text to schedule my appointment. Called and found that “no appointment exists” so then make a NEW appointment even later for June 20. Was told there is no cancelation list and that I can call and see if anything opens up “every so often”. Called a few times (also waiting on hold several minutes) to find no sooner appointment is available. Then, in late May, I got a text to confirm my appointment for June 11. I typed YES to confirm that appointment. I called the scheduling office to find out what is going on and was told that “no appointment exists” for June 11. I was THEN told that the appointment is June 20 and I can be put on a cancellation list (which I was told initially there is not cancelation list!) after all the back and forth, I asked for a supervisor. Again, (after holding several minutes) and the supervisor, Judy, came on to let me know the June 11 appointment IS confirmed- someone typed in the birthdate wrong. I explained my frustrations with her. Told her she needs some training for her staff to get them on the same page because every time I called- I get a different story! Come to June 11- appointment day! Get there and (RUDE) Patty, from the front desk, tells me Medicare is canceled and I will owe $450 for the appointment. I provided her with the Medicare number, date of birth, and social security number- I know that my Medicare was Not canceled - she continued to say Medicare was canceled and I can pay $450! After asking to speak to a supervisor, Katie, she found that indeed I do have Medicare but the Medicare number changed-she provided me with the new number. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE STAFF! Dr. brown was pleasant but from dealing with the scheduling and front desk staff, would NOT recommend.

Beware they will charge you 3 more times after the visit by creating new ideas and writing new bills 3 months after the visit , trying to make money from patient!

If I could have gave ten gold stars I would have! The staff and Dr. Brown are awesome and I felt completely relaxed. my vision out of my right eye is perfect now. Thank you!
