This past experience with Coastal Orthopedics was great. I had a pain in my finger (arthritis). when I called to make an appointment, and was on hold,, I decided to try making an appointment in their website. The process was fast and efficient! I got an appointment in 2 days. Dr Simmons is wonderful! She’s fast, but extremely knowledgeable and caring. She (herself, not an assistant) gave me a steroid shot) and (after a night of usual pain) the pain in my finger is gone! I definitely recommend Dr Simmons (as well as the other Coastal physicians).

Dr.Simmons is highly intelligent, professional and easily understands what you might be going through; she really explained my current wrist/thumb issue and the options available. All office and nursing staff were great, also! Highly recommend.

Dr. Simmons is PHENOMENAL. She is candid, knowledgeable, great bedside manner, and efficient. I have dealt with coastal orthopedics a couple times over the last three or four years. Their quality of physicians is top-notch, the physical therapy aspect is definitely underwhelming. It is a giant machine of a practice, so it is hard to get a hold of someone to move an appointment or ask an individual question unless you’re in front of a doctor. But they do have the best of the best physicians and Dr. Simmons is my favorite so far!

This was my 1st visit. The reception staff was friendly/professional & the waiting room is beautiful. Before seeing Dr. had X-rays of hand ( hope this is covered) was seen promptly & Dr was able to dive into my issue. We discussed options & was handed of to another staff member who further assisted me . I’m familiar with how fast paced the medical field is & was appreciative how efficient everything was, only concern is the insurance & additional X-ray coverage. Overall I was would highly recommend Dr Simmons.

What a new experience! A appointment at 9AM but they called me at 8:50!! This was my first visit to this group. Wonderful staff, very pleasant and professional. Dr. Simmons is the best. Listened to me, then so clearly explained the problem and possible solutions. She is knowledgeable, compassionate and personable.
