I was referred to this surgeon‘s office by PXP. I told him the problems that I was having due to my significant weight loss… My PCP Provider was so nice to call Doctor Glasbeg Office to see if they took my insurance. They replied yes they do take it.. The first time I called for a consultation, I was told To call back after 3 PM to make an appointment Which I did and left my name and phone number with someone who advised me that they will pass along the message.. I waited a few days and then I called again today And whoever answered, the phone was very standoffish to me. She asked me for my info, which I provided. She then proceeded to ask me if I was a bariatric patient.. And then said in order for a consultation, you have to be a bariatric patient. The whole experience was just annoying trying to speak to someone to address my needs. It’s a good thing that I was able to find out how customer service was so unprofessional.. I didn’t even get a chance to meet Dr. Glasberg Of which I heard, he was a very, very good surgeon.. It’s OK I will seek elsewhere. Will also let my PCP know as well. I’m sure they will find another place that provides their customers with much more care and respect.
