Had periareolar liposuction mastectomy followed by revision surgery for uneven results. Great experience with Dr. Kim and her team. She's very detail oriented and explored various options and potential results with me. We ended up going with my preferred choice and I felt supported even though Dr. Kim would have preferred a different approach. Felt comfortable in her expertise, and appreciate her flexibility while aiming for best possible results. My partner was allowed to be in the room with me for all pre- and post-op appointments. Heads-up: struggled at times with Kaiser's appointment structure and feeling rushed/waiting extensive times which I think has less to do with the plastics department and more with Kaiser's caseload management.

Do not visit this doctor if you are transgender. She will not approve you for lifesaving procedures even if it’s the right thing to do. She told me that cis women had to pay for implants and so would I. In the middle of Pride month.
