Dr. Kusuma and his team are absolutely amazing. From the front desk, to the nurses, everyone is so attentive and knowledgeable. I saw Dr. Kusuma for laser options. Initially a bit on the fence because I have dark skin. Dr. Kusuma recommended UltraClear and it was the best decision I’ve ever made for my skin. I feel like I have baby skin (incredibly smooth & fresh) and - while they’re obviously not all gone- I have much fewer sunspots! There were plenty of pain management options to make my experience as positive as possible. This was my first laser but definitely not my last. Thank u to Dr. Kusuma, nurse Maria, and team!

It was so sad, my face was falling down. I would feel so depressed whenever I saw myself in mirrors and pictures. I felt so young inside, yet anywhere I saw my reflection, all I saw was a very old lady. I interviewed many doctors, then found Dr. Kusuma! He spent a lot of time with me. He listened very attentively to what I desired, and expected with surgery. He wanted to know me, he truly understood me. He explained options very clearly and had great suggestions as well. I felt he was looking beyond my many wrinkles and ugly age spots, seeing the beauty he knew he could create! The procedure went very smoothly. I went home with everything I needed to follow my instructions. I felt very cared for by Dr. Kusuma and his staff. He checked on me several times via video chat before my next appt, he let me know I was to contact him any time if I had any issues. It was thrilling and amazing that my healing didn’t take long at all. WOW! I now see the beauty that I know Dr. Kusuma saw. I was 60 when he transformed me, that was 3 years ago, and I must say, I absolutely love my reflection now. I even feel prettier through all these years. Thank you, Dr. Kusuma. I truly cannot say enough amazing things about Dr. Kusuma and the entire Suria staff. My experience was absolutely life changing. Dr. Kusuma has such a calm and reassuring presence and from the very beginning I felt completely safe and supported. He and his team were always on hand with incredible bedside manner, and the app they use to chat made it so easy to ask questions and get quick and thoughtful responses. I am now one year out and I genuinely miss seeing them because they became such a close and caring part of my life during the process. They treated me like a friend, not just a patient, and helped me with anything I needed throughout recovery. The aftercare was everything and they were there for every moment, every question and every concern. If you are thinking about doing it, speak to him and his team. He will walk you through absolutely everything you need to know and he is extremely safe, honest and transparent. He will never do anything without fully explaining what will happen and making sure you feel comfortable. I am forever grateful to Dr. Kusuma and the Suria team. Over the past decade, I’ve trusted Dr. Shashi Kusuma with my face and body—not once, but three times. Dr. Kusuma is an excellent plastic surgeon, and a highly ethical physician. I went to see Dr. Kusuma after an unsuccessful neck and lower face lift performed by another plastic surgeon in the area. I don’t know what was done to my face by the first plastic surgeon, although I can deduce what happened, but I looked totally different, and for the worse. Dr. Kusuma was able to give me my face back and a much younger and more beautiful one at that. He performed a full-face lift, upper and lower lid surgeries and neck surgery. I look much younger, and my features were not changed. I wasn’t pumped up with fillers either. I have my face back. I feel beautiful. I will forever be indebted to Dr. Kusuma (at Suria Plastic Surgery.) I went through a learning experience with the first physician and with Dr. Kusuma. I would like to share what I learned with those that might be shopping for a plastic surgeon. I have been able to compare two plastic surgeons and how they operate. I hope that what I learned will be useful to other people. The items listed below compare the two surgeons. 1. Dr. Kusuma will not ask you to sign endless documents stating that no matter what happens, he is not responsible for the result. 2. Dr. Kusuma will not use general anesthesia for your surgery. 3. Dr. Kusuma films the complete surgery, and he will give you any films you desire to have. So, you actually know what went on during the surgery. 4. Dr. Kusuma will perform the complete surgery himself. He will not allow a “surgical assistant” who has never attended college to close any incisions, or to perform any procedure. 5. After the surgery, every time you visit Dr. Kusuma, photos are taken. He meticulously compares your progress. 6. Dr. Kusuma will not let you go until he deems the final product to be perfect. He will follow through with various measures to achieve total perfection. 7. If you have any problems, it is easy to make an appointment. You will not be asked to wait weeks before you can see him. 8. Dr. Kusuma is very approachable. You will never feel fearful when presenting a concern.
