04.02.26- 8:43p: The visit was a great disappointment and a waste of time and petrol. The scheduler scheduled me with the wrong person. I did NOT wish to see Ms. Shue but I was already there, so I met with her. Ms. Shue seemed to lack confidence. She downplayed the scars on my face that I was concerned about. I couldn't take her seriously. She said that I might look worse if she did a procedure. I thought she was a plastic surgeon. Then, why would the scarring look worse after her procedure? I believe her skills are limited. For my concern to be downplayed by Ms. Shue wasn't caring or professional. I read her notes about my visit. Some of her notes were not 'true' and she completely left out the total area on my face and the amount of scarring. Her notes stated that everything was fine. She even stated that it had healed nicely. IT WASN'T ABOUT HEALING AT ALL, it was about the jagged 'scars' that were quite visible after the abrasions and injuries healed a long time ago. She never saw the abrasions on my face when it first happened. There are scars on the front of my nose, half way up my nose and on both sides, as well as the tip. My face hit the asphalt sidewalk and left many jagged scars 'AFTER'' healing. In her summary notes, she mentioned only ONE scar on the tip of my nose. She 'really' downplayed my situation. She said any procedure to remove the scars would be considered cosmetic surgery. What she said isn't true. I disagree 100% with her. This scarring is work-related. She promised to follow up with me--but, she NEVER did. I would not have an appointment with her again. I could not recommend her to anyone. There are good plastic surgeons. We have choices. She said that she would follow up with me after checking with her team. That was three months ago. Interesting, she didn't follow up with me during those three months, BUT SHORTLY AFTER I SUBMITTED A REVIEW, SHE CALLED MY PHONE NUMBER TWICE IN A ROW. I WANT HER TO LEAVE ME ALONE. She shouldn't be calling me. It's unethical and unprofessional. I have the right to submit a review, but not what she wants me to say, but what 'my' experience was.

Seeing the results of my breast reduction, my first reaction was how incredible the outcome was and how happy I felt. From my very first consultation, Dr. Shue made me feel completely at ease. She and her entire team have been consistently kind, professional, thorough, and communicative throughout the process. Every step—from scheduling to pre- and post-operative instructions—is clearly organized in a “care journey,” which made everything easy to follow and understand. The entire experience has been as smooth and stress-free as it could possibly be. If you value both expertise and genuine care, I would absolutely recommend Dr. Shue.

I met Dr. Shirley Shue completely by accident, and I’m so grateful that I did. I originally had a consultation with another surgeon, but when he left the practice to move out west, I was rescheduled with Dr. Shue — and it turned out to be the best possible outcome. As a 40‑year‑old who had never had surgery before, I was extremely anxious about the idea of a tummy tuck. After losing half my body weight (from 300 lbs to 150 lbs), I knew I needed help with excess skin, but the thought of surgery was overwhelming. From the moment I met her, Dr. Shue made me feel calm, informed, and genuinely confident that this procedure was right for me. What truly set her apart was her honesty and her commitment to doing what was best for my body long‑term. A previous surgeon had recommended additional procedures, but Dr. Shue explained why those extra surgeries would be overly aggressive and likely leave me with scarring I wouldn’t be happy with — especially given the limited benefit they would provide. She never pushed anything unnecessary; she guided me toward the safest and most effective plan. She also suspected I might have a hernia, something the prior surgeon never mentioned. She ordered imaging before finalizing my surgery, which gave me so much peace of mind and ensured everything was handled properly. The entire experience — from check‑in staff to pre‑op and post‑op nurses — was exceptional. Everyone was kind, patient, and supportive. And honestly, if I had known recovery would be this smooth, I would have done this years ago. My results are better than I ever imagined, and I feel like myself again. What started as an unexpected second consultation became the best decision I could have made. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Shue to anyone considering a tummy tuck or any cosmetic procedure. She is skilled, compassionate, and truly has her patients’ best interests at heart.

Dr Shue has been phenomenal at being attentive and caring about her patients. She is incredibly thorough and her bedside manner is wonderful. She puts me at easy anytime I have high anxiety, or am worried about something post surgery. Her skills are wonderful, and she’s extremely meticulous and purposeful with her work. Backstory: I had a tummy tuck in Miami, FL 11/6/25. It became extremely infected. 11/19/25 I was opened back up through the entire incision and had a wound vac placed over the opening for 2 months. The progress allowed new growth and granulation to be closed up surgically. Most plastic surgeons do not want to deal with prior work from a plastic surgeon and she decided to take my case thankfully. She was able to close my incision back up and take great care of me and listen to my needs. You can put your trust in her, her staff and her work!

I recently had a breast reduction surgery, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the entire process. The procedure was completely uneventful, and Dr. Shue along with her team demonstrated outstanding efficiency, professionalism, and compassion every step of the way. Their helpful and caring approach made me feel comfortable and confident throughout. My only regret is not doing this sooner—but if I had, I wouldn’t have had the privilege of receiving care from Dr. Shue and her amazing team! Highly recommend to anyone considering this procedure and especially Dr Shue!!
