About Dr. Stephen

Dr. Stephen Schendel is a board-certified plastic surgeon and a renowned authority in craniofacial surgery, practicing at Schendel Plastic Surgery in Palo Alto, California. He earned his medical degree from the University of Hawaii John A Burns School of Medicine and completed plastic surgery training at Stanford Health Care–Stanford University, before pursuing advanced craniofacial training as a Fulbright Fellow in France under Dr. Paul Tessier, the pioneering father of craniofacial surgery. Dr. Schendel has held faculty positions at Stanford University and has dedicated his career to the most complex reconstructive and cosmetic surgical challenges.
