About Dr. Susan

Dr. Susan Downey is a board-certified plastic surgeon who has been serving the Los Angeles area since 1989, bringing a distinguished academic pedigree to her Burbank practice. She earned her medical degree from Columbia University's College of Physicians and Surgeons, completed her general surgery residency at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital and her plastic surgery residency at Columbia University-Presbyterian Hospital, and then pursued a fellowship in Pediatric Plastic Surgery at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. Dr. Downey also holds a Master's in Health Administration from the USC Sol Price School of Public Policy, reflecting her commitment to excellence beyond the operating room.
