I met with Dr. Mayer about a month after having surgery with another doctor who lowered my hairline too much. His consultation alone is worth it -- he takes the time to go into detail about what he plans to do and even shows photos so you can fully understand what the procedure and recovery will be like. After meeting with about a dozen surgeons on both the East and West Coast, I came to understand just how limited my options really are. He still remained my top choice. I never felt that he was trying to push unnecessary procedures. His pricing was in line with other surgeons I consulted, and he was clear that he would not recommend something unless he believed it could lead to a good outcome. I found him to be sharp, thoughtful, and extremely knowledgeable about facial structure and surgical planning. His team was also incredibly professional, patient, and responsive. Overall, I would recommend this office to anyone considering any facial surgery.

I booked and paid $300 for a consultation, but never ended up consulting with him because, after more research, I discovered he doesn't do the particular procedure I was looking for. When I called to clarify, the staff gave me a call back in a timely manner with the right answer and let me know he doesn't do it. I canceled my consultation and they offered to refund my consultation fee. I think that was very fair and honest of them to give me my money back and wish me well on my endeavors.

I'm very happy with the results of my facial feminization surgery! Dr. Mayer and staff were excellent during my two visits and consequent follow ups this year. Dr. Mayer is kind of funny! But he was also careful to explain important details regarding the procedures and how he would go about adjusting my features. I'm very impressed with the results! (especially with my nose and hairline) They are very natural, too! Dr. Mayer seems quite good at that. It was a tad expensive, but Dr. Mayer performed excellent work and I am very happy with my decision to go with him for my facial feminization surgery. He has an eye for it and tons of experience that are both very tough to beat!

Dr Mayer performed two facial surgeries for me in the past year. I was so pleased with the results! Dr. Mayer has such a good eye, great technique and precise skill for delivering wonderful results that are totally natural looking. Everyone in Dr. Mayer’s office was fabulous to deal with, and provided such warm care and support. Both Dr. Mayer and his phenomenal staff were always so pleasant to deal with, and always available to answer my questions. I’m very thankful that Dr. Mayer performed my surgeries, and I highly recommend his services.

I had my nose done some time ago and have had nothing but issues including: Deviated septum, crooked nose tip, uneven nostrils, and a floating piece of cartilage in the bridge of my nose. Doctor tried to correct some of my issue in the office without anesthesia, but nothing changed. My whole experience with Dr. Mayer seemed purely transactional and uncaring, and unconcerned with my issues. Now my right nostril closes up anytime I am doing any heavy breathing, like when exsercising. It has gotten to the point where I can't run anymore because I can't breathe properly. Now I am having to find another surgeon to correct the issues so that I can breathe correctly again and not be depressed. I have reached out to doctor Mayer again via email, but I am not optimistic as I have been ignored before. Met with doctor again today. He refused to fix what he did to my nose. He was insulting and passive aggressive. Avoid this doctor at all costs. No respect at all. Go to Harrison Lee.
